Today is my son's fifth behind the wheel driving test. Wish him luck please. Then wish me and my car luck if he passes. Enjoy the weekend.

Luck to both of you, T. We had an absolutely gorgeous day yesterday, and today we're due some rain. I reckon that's payback.
I'm going to help a guy hand siding on his garage tomorrow, and try and get my laundry done. Next week, I'm off to West Point on Wednesday to get a behind-the-scenes look at graduation.
Take care.

Wheels aren't meant for everyone. Maybe something that slides instead of rolls would be a better choice?

Good morning but it looks like rain is coming. I guess we need it but that may postpone the golf tournament tomorrow. Based upon yesterday's practice, I could use a postponement, like maybe 'til next year. At least my handicap is as high as the computer will count, 34. That helps.

Some rain, but not much. Asparagus are now coming up hot and heavy. People came out yesterday and hauled off 10 pounds and I got 5 pounds day before. Wife and I are waiting for our semi load of wood chips to arrive and have 2 young people hired to haul them around the garden. This will be our 3rd load in 3 years. The garden is getting eaiser every year and now I have all summer to stay on it. Have been canning meat and chicken soup and soon will start on veggie's. After all this is my 348 day of retirement.

Good morning. Not a lot going on in my world today but it's sure going to be a nice day. Same for tomorrow but I'm going to go to a bike group meeting at bar/restaurant bikers use. While I've never been there I've heard a lot about it. There was a write up about it in the paper recently that kinda caught my attention.
All makes of bikes and owners are welcome there and it has the reputation of being kinda friendly. So I'm looking forward to that.

Friday the 13th. Anyone superstitious?
No gigs this weekend, no yardwork. A few small jobs to take care of but for the most part it's gonna be me and the rain.

Lonnie, how did the TV gig go? Yeah Lonnie.....let's hear about it. What are you waiting for? Mornin'..... Bruce laid out on me and didn't show up to fix the plumbing problem in the camper.....probably out wasting his time "practicing" golf. So now I have it hooked back up to the Suburban and ready to haul it to Garden City later to a repair guy. Then it's off tomorrow to Hutchinson to the Kansas State Fairgrounds for a Foster Parent Appreciation event put on by the outfit Barb works for.

Good morning. They're predicting that today will be our second 100-degree day of the year, but then it'll cool back down again. Enjoy your day.

Back to the shop where a pile of guitars await my attention. Here's another shot of the CF Martin factory. In this out of the way , lonely area of the factory all these guitars are kept behind locked gates, they are NOT for sale. Anyone want to guess why?

Saved for posterity, they represent one each of the signature models?
