Don, I haven't been keeping up with the forum this past week, but read about Shay last evening. I'm very sorry to hear about all of that. There is a good kid down there somewhere, I know that. I've met her twice.
Beautiful day outside, and I'm left to my own devices. Could mean trouble.

Good morning... been a long weekend, three gigs and a recording session... today I'm gonna do as much nothing as I can.

I meant songs but chords might make more sense, since I could get there in two songs if I dust off some of the complicated ones. Hah! I got all the way up to 12 chords. Twelve! Then I ran out of room to move the capo.

I'm tired today. I was sound asleep last night when I suddenly woke up at about 2:30 am.
Something was wrong! I was so out of it, I didn't realize what it was. Then it hit me. SKUNK!
I had the windows open and the fan on. Somebody must have hit a skunk very close by, because the stench was so bad it woke me from a dead sleep.
I had to scramble to turn the fan around to blow out, and close the rest of the windows.
Sheesh. The speed limit is town is 30 mph. Is it asking too much to keep an eye out for these critters?
Now I'm watching a real scrapper between Manchester City and Bolton. 3 goals and two yellows in the first half so far.

Yikes Don. I just read your saturday post and today's one. Hope things start looking up for her, and consequently for you.

Afternoon... it took the cable guy 2+ hours to get me set up with cabe and internet service. A good chunk of his time was spent on hold waiting for the person who actually turns on the service. They're down to 2 people because Cox is moving those jobs to Michigan, and everyone else quit. But it's on!
Another lazy day. I should assemble my Ikea dining room table and chairs. I just might. Because I'm in Guitar Center 40+ hours a week, and have to play every instrument I work on, I'm developing some mighty fine calluses. Now I just need to learn a tune that allows me to put the guitars through their paces. I need some lessons. Maybe Marty can help me out - I remember that his guitar-testing song sounds pretty darn good.

Well.....we're back from Dodge. Everything went as well as it could. All of us were just kinda numb.....not sure exactly when reality will set in. But we're OK for now. I think I'll chill awhile this afternoon, get a bit of a better grip on my thoughts and emotions and post more later in a separate thread.
And all the fine Soundholian support is as usual muchly appreciated.

Don, I've been like Todd, just breezing through here. I went back and took a look at your posts. I'm sorry you all are going through this, and hope everything works out for the best, my friend.
