Another day beckons. Why? Getting rid of my wife for three days, shipping her off to Phoenix for training. Perhaps they'll let me in on the training secret. I need help on this one. Let's enjoy Sept 13th for all it's worth. Eee - ha!

A very good morning, t-bob.
I'm ploughing through a dense, mainly nonsensical text here for a development organisation. It needs a complete re-write and it's killing me.
Just four hours until rugby practise, though, at which point I get to work out my frustrations by tackling, running, scrummaging, jumping, falling over, and generally getting knocked about a bit. Happy days!

I'z here. Here be Wichita (but I'z not a lineman)
Nicest motel of the whole trip and only second on the cost list. Best Western North. And the free breakfast is. Not one of those fruit loops/cornflakes/make your own waffle deals but a restaurant breakfast.
Should make it near Amarillo today.

Not "toadsday". Turns out it's the day after "frogsnight". This little critter has been climbing our windows for the past coupla weeks. We have one of those hanging around the back door intermittently for the past 2 years. Seems to like clinging to the siding. I hadn't found any information that said such frogs lived here. It's Tuesday. No idea what to do today. Maybe coffee will help.

It's not Toadsday or Toddsday here....it's Pie Day...at least at the senior residence where my duo partner and I are entertaining. I'm kind of excited because when we left that facility when we played there a few weeks ago, one gentleman asked if we could play Ragtime Cowboy Joe. We didn't know the song but I came home, looked it up and convinced my duo partner to work on it! We've got it ready and will play it there today. Then it's home to pack and pick up my mom (3 hour trip) so she and I can catch an early flight to Colorado tomorrow. We are staying there for a week with my cousin and his wife. I'll try to check in from time to time...but now sure how much computer access they actually have.

Good morning. While we are discussing reptiles, Elena has a family of these living at her house. We watched them last night while sitting outside on her porch. These guys are not indigenous to South Georgia, and we don't have a clue where they came from. Sometimes they crawl across the kitchen window. They only come out at night, and enjoy the moths that fly around the lights. They seem to be almost translucent in color, and range from about 2" long to 6".

I saw something like that slither across the highway in Iowa. Looked like the Geico gecko (or whatever). It even stopped and stood up in the middle of the road. . . . , I almost lost control swerving to get him. But the slippery devil got away.
Speaking of road kill; there is a skunk, a squirrel, and a cat in the roads close to our house. Bad couple of days for the animal kingdom. Though, I hope it was the skunk that has been passing through our yard for the last couple of years. That boy is/was a nuisance.

I had to move three time zones away, but I'm only sleeping an hour or two past when Cornflake gets up.
I hope everyone has a wonderful day, and I'm glad things are looking up for Sarah, Marty.
