Mornin'..... Guess I better post something before Kate bites me. I can almost see the pawsonhips. ;D Yes, winding down for an extra day in Vinton before I drive two more days to get home. Monday night, I'll be back at Joshua's. It's been a long, somewhat tiring trip but SO WORTH IT! IdiotJam (once I got over the little stomach bug) was a joy as usual. Recording sessions with Gene were productive.....as soon as we get some spots cleaned up and are ready, I'll post links and let you hear some of what we did. Even though we ended up cutting the planned time in Minneapolis some, it was a super time. Enjoying Bill, Marty, and Lonnie in their native habitat was cool. Bill took me on a wonderful driving tour of the Twin Cities. Also met Frank and Jeff at the Podium. Ate Walleye . Great concert at CreekHouse. Was a total thrill to play with Lonnie and Bill at Lonnie's gig. But I'll be home soon, can tackle the family issues and get that resolved, and get to work on the rest of the CD. Also going home to a job, as my old firend that I worked for before the grocery store wants me to come help him finish corn harvest and plant wheat. So it's back in the tractor/combine/semi again for a while. Now I'll let Bob have his computer back and post this before the noon whistle goes off and Kate has a fit.

Morning. Meeting friends for brunch, then practice time, then the opening concert of the Spokane Symphony's 2011-2012 season (Enesco, Grieg-both for piano; as well as Berlioz' Symphonie Fantastique), then our wine bar gig this evening.

Man, you guys get up early. It is impossible to be the first post in these threads. Maybe I sleep too late. Oh well, I am up, have my coffee and I'm ready to face the world. LJ Bob's in California. I think he posts right before he goes to bed the night before.

Winding down what turned into a long day. Couple of seemingly simple chores turned into six hours of false starts and wrong-sized tools and missing parts and general UGH.
All's well that ends well, and its ended, and all is well. So all's well.

Recent forum events made made me think about changing my everyday quote. MAYBE IT'S JUST PENIS ENVY. Good morning, all. Yeah, but your DamnYankees are going to win the pennant and my Red Sox may not even get the wild card the way they're playing. So, you got that going for you. Why don't you just start rooting for the Os?
