Good morning. I have to go in for a half day, mostly because a colleague is bringing me some of the chicken liver pate he makes every year around Hannukah. It's delicious.
Two-thirds of my offspring are here and the other will arrive tonight. All's well. Enjoy your day.

Howdy -- Made a good breffkust sammich -- whole grain toast, fried egg with garlic pepper, Tillamook cheddar, thin-sliced rosemary ham from Trader Joes. Work today. Work Saturday. Work Sunday. Work Monday. Grumble, grumble. But I have a job. I'm up, have coffee, really hungry and ready for breakfast, and your breffkust sammich sounds divine. Sincerest sympathies on the work schedule.....it sucks, but have a Merriest of Christmases regardless. Perhaps you'll find a minute to shoot me a note. Mornin'..... We're all up and buzzing around trying to get this place is some kind of order to have family over for soup supper - my Chili and Barb's cheesy baked potato soup that's loaded with BACON. Also awaiting the arrival of Joshua, who for the first time since he moved out 10 years ago will arrive during the day instead of 2-3:00 in the morning. Installed a 1 x 6 on one wall of the music room last night, to which I will attach 6 instrument hangers. So all 5 guitars and the Uke will be out and accessible. The hangers should be at the P.O. this morning. Getting the instruments up on the wall and the cases stashed away will open up lots of room for a mattress for Joshua to use. It's amazing how much more room there is, going from a 10 x 10 room to a 13 x 13. It's almost Christmas! ;D
