Good morning - middle of the night! Just one day until Super commercials, halftime show with no wardrobe malfunctions, and possibly passable pigskin antics. However, today is today. Expecting good weather, therefore lots of cleanup and other fun stuff for Saturday. I plan for some fun music making, string changing, and guitar, piano, and dulcimer cleanup. Then I'll start on detailing the Volvo. I'm tired just writing about it. Whew! Sleepy time! Enjoy your days!

Good Morning Good People
Likely to be another sunny day of non-winter. According to my Mom the gardener, soils and plants in these northern climes do better with an insulating blanked of snow through the winter.
Housecleaning and a trip to Charlotte, MI to a well-stocked hardwood lumberyard to get some 1/2" poplar lumber to build a changing table for the forthcoming grandkid. I could get thicker lumber locally and resaw and plane it to thickness, but it's less time and effort to drive to Charlotte, which incidentally is only 20 miles from Elderly instruments.
Have a melodious pre-super Sunday Saturday one and all.

God morning... no dilly-dallying here today, I'm afraid. My Oregon sister is in town, got to do a family thing this morning, then head to St. Cloud to play a house concert for the Granite City Folk Society. I understand that it is not yet sold out, so if anybody wants to go, call Paul Imholte at 320.255.9811. 7:30 tonight.

And then there's the 7 hour drive. You should do a pod cast. . . . . , I love the MN acoustic music scene. Not as vibrant around here. More hard-boiled.

I think I would actually drive to St. Cloud tonight, Lonnie, were it not for the fact that for the third Saturday in a row, I am driving to Eau Claire and back. Need to prop up Mom's spirits as she recovers from her hip surgery, and get her to EAT.
Ice cream and cake should help. It's their 68th wedding anniversary.
I have plotted some back-road routes that should be scenic and relaxing.

You should do a pod cast. Well, OK, but the plaster probably won't harden until I get home.

Inflected in a similar fashion as Jim Mora's "Playoffs? Playoffs??" in the beer commercial or Maynard G. Krebs "Work?" on the Dobie Gillis Show

Driving up to Birmingham after lunch to take my daughter to dinner. Every year since she was 4 years old we have had a daddy/daughter date near Valentine's Day. She may have left for college, but she isn't far enough away to break this tradition!
