I'll be 65 this December. Healthcare in Panama is very good, know quite a few US docs who practice half the year there. I'm not going to live wherever I choose rurally, more like the Central American or European version of suburban. I want warm to hot climate, know that fosho. I will find a colonial style city either on the ocean, lake, river or in the mountains. Europe is not out of the mix at all. I may even consider Antigua, Guatemala. Been there before, loved it. I know the risks of cartel action. The upcoming scouting trip will undoubtably open my eyes - wide! Thanks for the feedback, everyone. Especially you, Doug.
