Good morning.
I'll be leaving to pick Mary and her sister up once I have some more coffee. They've decided they've seen everything they wanted to see and bought everything they wanted to buy, so they're ready to come home. They say I don't need to bring the truck, the Buick should suffice. I suspect that means they only bought small expensive things. Have a good day.

Good Morning Good People
Cloudy and hovering around the freezing point after a brief spurt of winter. Off to church and Sunday chores. There is nothing new under the sun (with the exception of eagle eggs in Iowa)
Have a peaceful Sunday one and all.

Dennis, I don't know, I haven't run it down yet. Amazon's claim: "Up to 8 hours of continuous reading or 7.5 hours of video playback, with wireless off. Battery life will vary based on wireless usage, such as web browsing and downloading content."
It arrived yesterday 9 AM with a full or nearly full charge. I read a comic book, watched a movie (during which I had plugged in for a full charge), played Words With Friends, and read my book until I fell asleep. I woke up and played/read with it for the rest of the day. I charged it up again before taking it up to bed for more reading, although the battery still had 1/2 or 1/3 of a charge left. I had the wireless on the whole time. (WiFi only.)
I think I probably could have gotten through the day without charging. Maybe not. It's different, though. My other Kindle only needs to be charged every couple weeks.

Another nice looking day out there. I plan to motor over to Eau Claire and visit my folks. I saw "The Artist" yesterday, thoroughly enjoyed it. What an amazing project -- French director, cast and even crew fly to Hollywood to make a silent film, but somehow it worked beautifully.
This is no doubt a record year for me -- I have actually seen THREE of the films nominated for Best Bicture Oscars. (Also saw "Hugo" and "Midnight in Paris.")

Have the morning off from playing, so it will be home for a chuck roast in the oven. Will spend the afternoon seeking out a way around a brick wall. Lonnie will know what I'm talking about.

Good morning... no trip to Alexandria today, Connie Lee, the star of the show, is sick. Her health has not been the greatest, I'm praying this is something simple. Think good thoughts for her, folks.

Lazy day. Girls' soccer is done for the year - team sadly fell apart. The Canucks are playing at noon, (weird 'murican thing where they are starting to play games during the day on weekends,) and s ome housework to do. Be boning up on some new technology I may need if I get another job.
Need to get back to yoga. This cough and sinus infection seems to finally be packing it in.

It probably looks like I'm typing from my desk, but I'm not. I'm on my Fire, typing ever so slowly, but thinking it's fun anyway, just because I can, while listening to my Pandora Blood Sweat & Tears station.

Good day .... enjoyed the Cyclone win on the road at K State yesterday. My son has a Kindle and I'm inching that way. Looking for a book on Russian History at Barnes and Noble last week yielded 3 choices. Kindle friendly choices seemed nearly unlimited and some interesting ones were free.

K....A....LAMAZ....O.....O Oh, I had a show in Kalamazoo. Don't wanna boast but just sold the most (sold out, anyway) in Kalamazoo.
It was the annual Garage Sale Art Fair where I unload a year's worth of seconds in three or four hours. Brought home about $1500 for my trouble.
(here I am at last year's event)
