Another beautiful day. It's late June weather. Cooling off this weekend but still gorgeous. I hope it doesn't snow in April. The birds will be devastated. Nesting going on. Sexy singing in the bushes. I think I will celebrate by cleaning all the garbage cans. Oh boy. Morgan thanks everyone for birthday wishes.

Good morning. Congrats Bob on the job prospects .... what a relief that must be. Doing the suburban landscaping thing today, spreading 3 yards of bark around. After many years of fertilizing and watering only to brutalize the results with power tools, we'll soon be selling the last lawn mower we will ever own.I did the same thang 2 years ago. Guess what? I need a lawn mower again.

Grey, cold, rainy day here - as it is supposed to be. At least it will slow the growth of my lawn. The dream of no lawn mower lives on!

To kbcolorao and t-bob... I got two words for you... "green cement." ;D Or the green gravel I saw on retiree's "lawns" in Florida. ;D AlmosttoolatetosayMornin'..... Loafing some this morning. Filing, otherwise trying to clear my desk. Another couple of photos to shoot around the music room after I finish straightening up some. Raining here, so can't work outside. Darn. Last Thursday evening at the Open Mic at Patrick Dugan's Coffee House in Garden City, Kansas.

I did the same thang 2 years ago. Guess what? I need a lawn mower again. To kbcolorao and t-bob... I got two words for you... "green cement." ;D When my folks retired there was a guy down the street that had cemented his front yard, painted it green and used his lawn mower as a planter base, setting it right square in the middle of the new yard. I thought it a much better idea than Mom and Dad did.

I did the same thang 2 years ago. Guess what? I need a lawn mower again. To kbcolorao and t-bob... I got two words for you... "green cement." ;D In Kings County, we refer to that as "Italian turf."
