And here I yam.
Emailing and talking to telecom recruiters, and technology - as discussed in a recent thread - takes over. I got an email from a recruiter tonight at 11:30. Man o man. I responded. It is an awesome job. I did comment on the lateness of the communication. Turns out, she's an insomniac as well.
Back to the movie I'm watching - 25th Hour. A Spike Lee joint. Another Edward Norton flick. Rosario Dawson too. Hot babe!
Enjoy the day when it gets here.

Good morning. Daylight is just getting here but it appears that the rain has stopped anyway. I think it's moving day for the tadpoles I'm just not sure where or how. I shop-vac'd some into a bucket yesterday and will see if they're still alive this morning. That would be the easiest way to get them collected.

G'mornin' fellow 'can't sleep the night through' peoples. S'posed to be another reasonable day in the PacNW, no rain and moderate (high 40s) temps. Must be getting used to it, I'm putting on heavy coats and wool caps.

Morning. This is going to be a long day. I woke up a little after 2 AM and felt ready to get up, but knew I'd be sorry later. I was still awake at 2:55 so I gave up and got up. I'm almost ready for a nap now.

Sleeping is getting to be a real challenge. I fell asleep right after I posted at 1:50, woke up 20 minutes ago and knew I was done. Know it's going to be a tough day. I have an early conference call, then accompanying Patricia on an important doctor visit (surgery options), and two phone interviews, one of which my bullshit needs to be at its best (I'm about 70% qualified for the job). Wish me Godspeed and luck.

Morning. Had some family over last night for some jamming. I've been playing my '52 RI Tele a lot lately so I was using that 'till my GD took it away from me. I wound up with my J-45 for the rest of the night. We play a mean, "Ghost Riders...", with the Tele doing the lead, set with heavy chorus. Spooky, but great family fun.

Good morning. Sorry to hear about the "short nights" for some. Keep us posted on the Tadpole Tale, Bruce! I slept like a rock last night and am glad of it as I have lots to do today. Making that DVD yesterday for my grand-darling's baptism gift took more time than I thought it would....and isn't that just the way things typically go?! My mission for today is to order food for the after-service gathering here on Saturday and to frame and hang a plethora of enlargements that I had made of the 3 grandgirls' professional newborn photos. That oughta keep me out of mischief for awhile! You sleepless guys...take care driving back home from work tonight! Sunny here...hope it is where you are as well!

Good morning. I thought I had a short night's sleep but it was long compared to what some of you had. Today's schedule stretches through a meeting with clients that starts at 8:00 PM.
As kramster mentioned, we actually had a storm with some rain late yesterday afternoon. Diane and I usually sit in the yard and have a beer after work but, with the rain, we sat outside under cover instead and enjoyed the unusual event.
Have a good day.

Good Morning Good People
Sunny and cool, a couple of pleasant days ahead. A brief environmental inspection of a home this morning and a business-to-business schmooze session tonite. I suppose to look businesslike I oughta get a haircut.
T-Bob -- good luck with the interviews. In regard to late-night emails, I once sent an email to a client at 2:30 AM and got an immediate "read" response. I assumed she was an insomniac/night owl too. Turns out I was beeping her smartphone that she kept by her bedside (she had two young children and was pregnant with her third). Somehow she continued doing business with me.
Roy -- your granddaughter has impeccable taste to be slinging a Tele at a young and tender age.
Have a terrific Thursday one and all.

The sun is out and the weather guy says it is NOT going to rain this weekend, unlike the last 5 weekends. This means nice weather for Mother's Day and we have Laurence Juber at Creek House on Sunday. I think our little house concert venue is going to be standing room only.

Good morning. The stacks of hundreds I got for the Lowden yesterday get burned today as I get a new electrical panel for the house. The exact kind of thing that has made me afraid to grow up and still does Wow the Creek House looks like a wonderful venue.
