Good morning. Goodbye to Daylight Savings Time.
Apparently the wind last night decided I didn't have the pool cover tied down tight enough. So, now I know what I need to do today.

Up and awake too early, but so is everyone thanks to the archaic convention known as daylight savings time. We're in Columbia, and will have breakfast with the lovely Claire before heading back to the KC area.
Tonight I have supper lined up with Herr Clark.

Good Morning Good People
A lightness outdoors and some scraps of blue sky, otherwise it's like any other November morning.
Church and various forms of work ahead.
Have a serene Sunday one and all.

I'm up, courtesy of the wiener dogs who don't know I was supposed to get an extra hour of sleep today. It's getting cold here. Off to Corvallis today to deliver stuff and have lunch with the Katester, Ho just informed us that she aced her bio midterm and got a 94% pm her Chem midterm. Mike

Sunshine today.
My laptop refuses to turn on so I have to take it to the computer guru tomorrow for a diagnosis. I hate it when stuff doesn't work.
Enjoy the day.

Tonight I have supper lined up with Herr Clark. Mornin'..... Looking forward to it! And I bet I have more Herr than you, although it's thinning lately. I'll report back my findings from the heart Drs when I find them.

What time change?
Heading up to the freeway at Benson later to meet younger daughter and her family for lunch. I haven't eaten at a Denny's in years, but that's the second choice for the 10 and 11 year old boys. (Their first choice was McDonald's.) They'll all then be continuing home to Phoenix, returning from spending time with SIL's mother for her 80th birthday.
Later this afternoon we're going to a potluck. Eating is on the agenda all day. Good practice for the holidays.

Good morning... Yes, Daylight Savings Time IS archaic. In this day of digital timepieces an infinite apps, it would be quite easy, I should think, to write a new program that simply speeds clocks up or slows them down twice a day, so that it would always be light out between 6 AM and 8 PM. Or perhaps a gradual expansion/compression of hours so that the change would not be so abrupt.

Good moaning to you. Compression of the clock. I like that.

Good morning! Finally...sunshine! It will be a day of cleaning off the deck and emptying the plethora of pots I planted just a few short months ago. I hate winter. (sigh, grumble, wipe a tear). The good news is that we still have the dumpster parked in the driveway and I got permission to dispose of the plant material in there. That makes things easier. We are in the final stretch of the remodeling. Things were going along well and then one wheel fell off the wagon, followed by another in the course of the last 2 week. I have to give the remodeling company props for their prompt and conscientious efforts to make things right but it's been stressful. The latest and greatest was some equipment failure when the hardwood floors were sanded which literally filled the condo with "fallout"...so much so that the flooring company is bringing in a cleaning crew tomorrow to clean the place from top to bottom. They are treating it as though this was "soot" from a fire. The team coming in to clean is a restoration crew. The place was pretty dusty anyway from all the drywall demolition and construction so I can't say I am unhappy with the fact we are getting such a thorough cleaning. We just have to get through today living in a dustbowl. Ken, that costumed character is amazing! Can you imagine confronting that just walking down the street??

G'mornin' - today is dawning clear and calm after a day of high winds and rain - and an extra hour of sleep.
