Good morning. It's 25 outside which is just about the point where heat pumps can't find any heat to pump so I have a gas heater running to keep the birds comfortable, not to mention me. Still have about half a room to paint but I may be able to finish it today since staying inside seems like a good idea. I know this is nothing compared to the upper mid-west temperatures but that's why I don't live there anymore.
Thanksgiving is over. Time to start worrying about Christmas I guess.
Less than 4 months 'til Spring. Can't wait.

Some slush out of the sky today, but I have Fridays off so nothing important/urgent. Got to get my studless tires changed onto the car one of these days.
(And 40 laps in the pool when it opened at five.)

Good Morning Good People
Cloudy and cold. Good time had by all yesterday.
Lingering sore throat has turned into a full-blown cold. I have no patience for such things. Trying to muster up energy for some desk work and plugging holes where cold air comes in. Avoiding shopping venues.

Up in Ankney, IA. It is like a completely different state than I am used to. Snow on the ground here. Natives seem friendly.

3lbs. That's all I gained with marathon eating. But then the elimination process had already begun before getting on the scale.
No shopping for me today. Except we're out of coffee. But there was enough for one last morning pot.
Work at home today. Better get at it.
