Awake at 3:30am. Hmmm...Insomnia sucks. My son was in the middle with my ex-wife. And I can't see him, and my dog too. I was not in the middle with my son. Total bummer.... patience!
But I am alive. G'day!

Morning
A 90% chance of rain doesn't sound like a chance of not raining to me, it's raining.
Usual Friday, breakfast at the Rail Station and then to the Podium.
Got a lot of work done yesterday, Harmony H165 is ready to string up but I'm waiting for tuners to arrive. The Gretsch Folksinging is slow going but I think worth it in the end. Can't seem to get the photo of it to download, I'll try to fix that tonight.

Good morning. Just mixed up a batch of Groundclear. Now I can see if I can find my driveway under these weeds. I'm starting to catch up with the work I could have done back in March except I wasn't allowed to do work then. To my surprise yesterday Mary insisted I stop working and jump in the pool instead. She thinks I'm overdoing it but I can't concentrate on golf until I get the landscape straightened out. It might rain this afternoon which would eliminate the need to water the flowers and that would be a nice change.

Got it. 1964 Gretsch Folksinging that I'm restoring. Doing a tobacco brown sunburst on, once I get it prepped properly. Takes a lot of work to refinish a top without thinning it or ruining it.

They just towed away our 2003 Odyssey, the one with 334k miles. Donated it to Purple Heart.

John, what a way to start the day. I don't normally appreciate fart humor. I thought the saving grace of the video was the full orchestration, though.

I remember the Camry talk, but had forgotten about the Honda impetus, sorry. That is an amazing mileage figure, though -- did you buy the car new?

So when did Mel Brooks join the Soundhole?
Just picked up a gig at the Gull Dam Brewery in Nisswa MN for tomorrow night. Saturday in the woods, Yay.

Morning everyone.
I'm quite groggy this morning. I drove straight thru from Nashville last evening/night. Got in @ 2:00 am. It's a work day and I needed to be here. There will be a serious nap later today. One thing that helps me on a trip like this is I play some music on the car stereo in repeat mode and sing along. I got a couple of new CDs from my new Scandinavian friends. I listened to them quite exclusively on yesterday's trip. I found 2 tunes on each disc I really love. I'll probably try to work up my own arrangements. But it's great fun (and a great way to stay awake) to sing along with a song on repeat mode

Hi, y'all. Nothing exciting so far today. Nice weather down here, though, before the rains return in a couple of days.
