The 8th is Thursday you could still make it by Friday evening unless there is another performance. I got mixed up, it is the 9th. I do plan to try to get down for lunch on the 8th. That's right, I have to see Georgia on Monday for a reservation. That means I also need to put the word out about Lunch wif da boyz this weekend.

Sounds good so far. I do have a question regarding Saturday dinner. We do need vegetarian choices, correct? Any vegans in the mix? Thanks. Patti generally doesn't eat meat unless it's from small happy farms where the animals are treated humanely right up to the moment they are dispatched with love and kindness. I'm also thinking we might shift from Fly Swatter Central to the Cobb, if they still have any room.

ETA: Friday, noon or early afternoon. Staying at the Cobblestone Friday and Saturday night. Eggs, sentimental goodbye, and departure Sunday morning. My navigator (A.K.A. spousal unit) will be coordinating our schedule.
Hope to see as many of you as possible. Not sure how many more I'll be able to attend.

I'll probably be there for a while. I got a room at the Modern Mo. I'll eat anything that doesn't move. I am hoping it has stopped moving right before you eat it.

DaWife and I will be there, she had such a good time last year that she needed no urging to come this year. We will be staying at the Cobb for the luxury even though she was fine at the Modern last year.

Successfully switched reservations to the Cobblestone. Great for comfort, not so hot for humor, unless we want to get into "corn on the Cobblestone" lousy puns.

Now you'll have to bring your own fly swatter.

I am leaving on the 6th. Drive to Albuquerque. Next day Lawrence, Kansas. Arrive Vinton on the 8th.
Time to book a room I suppose or just camp outside of town in one o the lovely parks. Hidden Valley Campground looks rustic and cheap.

Oh, in addition to my accordion, I will be bringing the Maki Boys, Delbert Bakke, and a five-gallon pail of the Hobo Haus' twice-pickled eggs. We will be staying at Todd's.
(thanks, Todd. The Maki Boys usually have trouble finding accommodations. It seems that more and more motels have a "No Stay" list they share with each other.)

Hidden Valley Campground looks rustic and cheap. I just cancelled my room at the Modern, so there's one available there, and as of 90 minutes ago there were still two rooms at the Cobb.
