So. Yesterday's little blow had us without lectricity from 8:00am to 4:30pm. No tv. No interweb. Nita and I actually had to talk to each other. The horror, the horror.
Today we pack up the doxies and take them down to Katie, in prep for or trip down to my Moms tomorrow.

Good Morning Good People
Sunny and springlike. Trees budding and crocuses blooming.
Off to the library with Mizz Lola. Housecleaning and painting thereafter. Guests coming for dinner this evening and tomorrow evening.
Have a fine springtime Saturday one and all.

An actual 1km in the pool today (only 750m or so Thursday). Gonna try to make it regular, a few times a week.
I'm itching to get on a bike, not just the trainer, maybe this coming week.

Been proofing a powerpoint for my doc, lots of opaque things that I've picked up since last summer: THA, ORIF, fx, OA, comminuted, heterotopic...
(doc kennedy will understand)

Up and awake. We have sun today, and but the rivers are still almost up to the banks. Lets hope the rain holds off a few more days.
Today is a day for lawn work and studying.
Edit: On edit, I may just blow off the lawn work. WW III is about to start apparently, so why worry about cutting grass?

How will WWIII change MY life. Dunno. Don't care. Got a pizza and beer party this afternoon. Be here now. My workload has spiked with this class I am taking, so I've cut back my drinkin' nights to exactly one a week, which was last night. I killed me some pizza too. Had to be done.

It is bright and sunny out there. It is also supposed to hit 70 today. Woo hoo! The yard crews have been mowing, raking, mulching, trimming and doing all that stuff I used to have to do. I love it.
I dreamed of IJam last night. Lonnie was playing a huge Gretsch guitar and singing something that was very familiar to me but I cannot quite grasp what it was. Maybe I will remember and maybe it was just a trick of the dream--making me think I recognized something that I did not. Anyway, that Gretsch was the deepest red I have ever seen and it had a Bigsby on it. That I remember very clearly. Lonnie does not seem like a Gretsch man now that I am awake.

Good day, mid 70s and sun in the forecast here, Billy been bizzy, already got sticks picked up, the motorcar washed, went to the meat market for veenerz und bunz, then to Morelli's for vino and meat-uh-balls.
Now at home for coffee, then it's off to the bank, the barber and the apothecary.
Watching the Masters has been fun, too, looking forward to more of that.

Like this, LJ? No, more like something Chet would have played. It was huge.

Understood, but this Rancher is an absolute beast.
Sounds very much like a brick unamplified, it is built so sturdy.

Give us this day our daily thread. LJ's description of "Lonnie's" Gretsch guitar reminded me of this; a model I've actually played.
