Good but damp and dreary morning.

Got the wife home safe and sound but poorer. The birds were happy to see her anyway. My bank had computer problems over the weekend so I'll have to wait and see what the credit card looks like. Her charges haven't hit yet.

I have no real plans for today beyond a small grocery trip. 22 days 'til Spring.

Happy Monday, if possible.

To answer the question, 'yes, it is Monday.' And I'm in a Monday fog, mentally and literally. The drive in was dangerously foggy. What we get for living by a biggish lake.

Last year I bought a new snowblower and then barely used it once.

This weekend I had to blow out the driveway twice. Money well spent.

Good morning. It was so windy yesterday the neighbor's horses got out looking for relief and found it in our wooded back yard. Sophie the dog had a bark fest.

Hi, an old Limey returns.
I'm back because a limey pal of mine has just written to tell me that he's leaving the AFG because one of the moderators is harassing him (as she has done to me a number of times and a Scotsman on there too.

It is also Monday here in the south of England!
how about that for a coincidence. I've just returned from the gym where I'm trying to get my old body back after cancer treatment (lost 40 lbs) and we are preparing for a blizzard - the news media are calling it "the Beast from the East!"

Not playing much lately which is a bore and my hands are getting stiff, but i dd change strings on two guitars over the weekeind that's something isn't it?

I'll have tea if no-one minds.

Good Day! I had a rough start to the morning. My oatmeal boiled over. But, since clearing that hurdle, all has gone well. Sunny and darn near 30 degrees! Outside of the oatmeal, a promising start to the week.

Lousy night and even worse morning. DaWife made some wonderful egg rolls last night, I ate too many and got heartburn, got up twice to take antacid . Got up again in the middle of the night to fix the furnace. Had to get up early to move my truck so the effing city can plow our street at some random point today. Being Monday it's trash day and I bet the damn plow comes by and runs over my trash bin out by the curb, or at least where I think the curb is, before they pick up the trash and I can pull the bin in. And I don't have the time or inclination to sit here and wait for the plow or trash collector, whom ever comes first, so I don't end up with a trashed trash bin. 

On the good side, I did notice it's getting light earlier.

Spectacular winter day here. Fresh new snow, sun, 20 degrees. Ditched the shop this morning and got the XC boards out. It was great.
