Up and awake. I looked outside as I let the cat in and saw rain. That's going to derail my lawn work for today I reckon.
On the band front, we are going to audition some guitarists and drummers on the 18th. Maybe Run for Cover will pick up where we left off.

Good Morning Good People
Novemberish. Cloudy, damp, and chilly.
Too much to do today. Another hydrogeologist/project manager left the company to work for the Michigan Dept of Environmental Quality and I have inherited his long-term projects and supervision of two people. Supervision is the easy part. I leave them alone and let them work. Much of the day today will be spent in the office, reading files and trying to get the essentials of the projects into my head. After that some prep work for the stairway project at son & DIL's house.
Typing this with non-callused fingers. Gotta do something about that.
Have a fine November Saturday one and all.

Good morning. 44F/7C Cloudy. I'm going to cut Saturday shop short today so I can get over to Fret Central and finish up a job there that I started yesterday. My old iPhone 5s has been acting up lately so we got me a new iPhone 8 last night. Still getting used to it as the touch is finicky and doesn't always do what I want. There has been some rather pointed language used. I posted this late last night on yesterdays Daily. My new bench at Fret Central. Very different from my bench of the last 35 years, much smaller and more open, I may even cut the width down by another 5 in. New bench ready to work, not totally done but workable. Bench extension keeps the vise lower and allows it to be rotated 180 degrees. 
 Leather strap below jaws catches the neck if the vise gets opened at the wrong time.  Pine Island 77F. |

Leaving Mountain Grove, MO, for home soon. Been making arrangements for my brother’s place. Trenched electric line (300 ft) set for Nov 20, realtor found, listing soon.
Whew!
Now must prepare music for shows celebrating some big holiday coming up in Dec.

Roofers roofing, lots of banging and stomping, cats hiding under furniture, rain predicted for this afternoon. So probably a Sunday dominated by more roofers roofing, etc.

Up, coffee and toast, paddling soon for a half hour or so then off to the made n Maui fair in Kahalui to look at stuff and get food from one of the 15 food trucks that will be there.
