I could want for no more...except... well, if it isn't too much to ask, what with it being my birthday and all, do you think it would be all right if I took the lead on the DuckWaddle Dance at our Binford American Legion gig this Saturday? I've been watching your waddle real close and I think I can do it... well not like you, but what do they know in Binford? Because it's your birthday, of course I'm willing to cede to that. If I try to interfere just give me that look and I'll back off. I think you'll do us real proud.

Happy Birthday ePaul!!!You have been so kind in gifting each of us a vintage automobile for our birthdays. We did our best to respond in kind, thought you might like something in British Racing Green: So what if it stalls on railroad tracks. We did our best.

My uncle had a restored Model T when I was a kid. He drove my brother and me from the farm to the Warren Fair one year, a 20 mile ride at 20 mph. Putting along in the open air. It was wonderful.

I don't know how I missed this yesterday, but Happy belated birthday. Assuming you and the Maki boys might have over did the festivities, I got you a safe ride home. Mike

Happy belated birthday epaul. (What the heck does the "e" stand for: Ewe, Elrod, Exhalted?) Anyway, I hope you have a wonderful birthday, that your excellent musicianship continues, that your crops grow bountiful, and that you enjoy this guitar:

My uncle had a restored Model T when I was a kid. He drove my brother and me from the farm to the Warren Fair one year, a 20 mile ride at 20 mph. Putting along in the open air. It was wonderful. Way back when, my Grandfather and a friend of his drove one from Nebraska to California and back. He claimed they went 50 mph. I'm sure the roads weren't smooth or reliable back then, but I never thought much of it until my brother bought a Model T for some reason. We were at his place, and he needed it moved from where it was to his shop, not very far at all. Six of us, three on each side, picked it up by its running boards and carried it in, like the Amish when they move a barn. Thinking about how little that thing weighed made me think about driving one at 50 mph down 1930s highways. Running over a dead coon could have sent it reeling.

Never too late, never enough hugs, guitars, or good wishes. And trikes make darn good sense.
