Good morning.
Sorry about losing your friend, Bob.
Cold here by our standards, 27F and not getting out of the 30s today. Outdoor work is suspended pending warmer weather if it ever comes back. We did see some flurries yesterday but it didn't stick so things could be worse. Apparently one school bus slid off the road North of here. No one was hurt.
Need to make a run to the grocery store and post office but otherwise I think I'll stay in where it's warm.

Good morning. I hope you folks get out from under the cold soon.
Today I'll haul pruned branches from trees and shrubs out to the front for the city to pick up. Diane and I already spent a couple of hours on the task and we're not done. It's not unpleasant except for the blackberry trimmings. Enjoy your day.

Everything hurts this am, due to schlepping endless boxes to the POD, along with a couple of book cases and dressers. Had a bit of a accident, when a box of wine glasses fell and broke five of them.im sure Tharp won’t be the only casualties, but it was discouraging. It’s damn hard to move 26 years of stuff.
This morning, gas up the truck, and go to goodwill drop off, then to meet wth the builders and finalize exterior colors and appliances. Then, I get to carry more boxes and furniture

Probably gong to Home Depot. Didn't make it yesterday because the dermatologist's office called with an appointment that I'd been trying to get. Waiting for biopsy results. Old age seems to constantly bring some health problem to worry about.
Nice weather, might hit 80. Had a very pleasant walk in the bosque late yesterday afternoon, but needed a sweatshirt.

Just got a call from my BIL's sister. He passed away yesterday. I think he was 77. Had advanced lung cancer. In 1995 he had a serious accident with many broken bones and a head injury. Life has not been good to him since then and especially after my sister passed away in 2005. There will be no service, per his wishes. I last talked to him on the phone about 4 months ago. Always the same conversation and I don't know if he knew I had called by the next day.
