Bob--is there a light at the end? Like when you maybe be able to leave?
Making some soup here, maybe another 30-40min of simmering. Veggies added, but the stock is the (gelled) liquid from ribs done a couple days ago in the pressure cooker, so it's not at all vegetarian. (and there were a couple extra ribs that got shredded back into the stock)
Rainy again, lows still in the upper 30s, highs of ~40. Tomorrow is supposed to be nicer.

Sympathies on the loss of your brother, Don.
Cool and windy here but dry for a change. Dog sitting tomorrow for a friend. Hope their new dog, Buddy, can enjoy the farm. We'll have to dog-proof the place today. I like dogs but borrowing one from someone else is enough. I really don't want the full time responsibility anymore. I expect to be taking a lot of long walks tomorrow and hope my legs hold up. Buddy will have a hundred new trees to mark.

More above normal temps here. We have only had 2 inches of snow this winter, not that I mind. Farmers are calling it a snow drought.

Drinking coffee this morning at home. 13.5 hours of driving got us from Breckinridge to Urbana yesterday. Had a great ski vacation, good weather, great accommodations and nobody got hurt.

Bob, have they diagnosed your lung problem? What facility are you in? 15 days in a hospital is incredibly expensive. Is Medicare picking up the tab?
Today is Sunday, football, golf and chicken soup are on the menu.

Weird night of mostly non-slumber -- too cold, too hot, bizarro dreams, woke up with a sore leg.
Have to motivate myself somehow, otherwise those Vikes will for sure fall to the Saints (likely anyhoo, I reckon … )

Nobody has figured out the lung.
Pneumonia
Virulent blood infections -
nightmares - I still have a little bit. Egads
I have a problem with dendrites/synapses
On the brain -

I know my old doctors medical issues

Got back around 6:30 last night from another trip to the old house. Cleaned out the 12 X 12 storeroom. Threw away and gave away. A trip to the dump/recycle to get rid of boxes, old lawn chairs, and general trash. Still have yard tools that we no longer need. Will just leave them for the next owner if nobody else wants them. Two days of cleaning and sorting, emptied the house completely. Stayed in a motel Friday night. Have someone hired to clean the house tomorrow and maybe continuing Tuesday.
Meanwhile, still have to unload the truck and find a place for everything. I get a temporary crown tomorrow. On Tuesday Mr. H has an eye injection and I have a visit to the dermatologist.
One more trip to do bathroom caulking after the cleaning. Hoping to finally get the place on the market in about 2 weeks.
