Look at that. My calendar has something on it for today. Dropping Mr. H at the dentist a mile from our house. A Zoom social gathering. Getting takeout, probably Indian. A virtual choir rehearsal this evening.
Yesterday I waited in the parking garage while Mr. H had laser secondary cataract surgery. Last night he could already see better than before. While waiting, I sat on a folding camp stool and read, people watched, walked around, found a couple of new restaurants to try for takeout.
Supposed to see 100F again today and tomorrow and then a cooling trend. Might even dip below 90 one day.
Still not feeling the best, no covid symptoms guys, just run down because I don't eat enough. But I'm working on that by saying screw the heart healthy diet for a little while. I don't need to loose weight, I've lost plenty of that, like 40lbs and would probably be better off gaining a bit back. Seeing the Doc next week but until then I'm going to eat what I damn well feel like eating, within reason, no ice cream bingeing. Now it's down to the shop to get what I can get done before getting too tired.
Heyyyyy...... well I am up, but very slow. Back in an outpatient physical therapy, trying to get my legs back under me. I believe that it was JDD who told me that after his valve replacement his doctors had him on a stair machine.
And in other great news, my sailor boy Tyrone has finished his basic training and is now stationed in Pensacola Florida. Lovely weather there.....not.
Yet another fantastically beautiful day! Been to the grocery store, picked up my newly sharpened chainsaw chains and dropped off my ballot.
I'm going to wash the north side of the garage and the brick work on the house this afternoon with something called Wet it and Forget it. It gets rid of moss, mold, algae and stains.
My sister and BIL do a lot of work taking care of old cemeteries and it's what they use to clean old tombstones.
Good morning. It was 59 degrees when I left at 6:30 for a visit to the botanical garden. Haven't seen a temperature in the 50s for a while. I had a very pleasant walk.
Last night we played Zoom trivia. My daughter comes up with the questions. Ideally, some people will know the answer but not everyone. Eleven teams out of eleven knew what comedian's bit about words you can't use on television prompted a case that went to the higher courts.
I have truly overdosed on news, politics and rancor. I'll make a concerted effort today to avoid them.
Enjoy your day.
We don’t stop playing because we grow old; we grow old because we stop playing. – George Bernard Shaw
Caught (third time?) Interstellar on tv last night, still excellent, picked up a few more details. Would like to see what Nolan did with Tenet--maybe someday.

Bonny and I Spent the afternoon practicing for a show later in the month at the Milwaukee Accordion Club. Three of Milwaukee's BEST concertina players were in my studio this afternoon. I remember watching all of them when I was a little girl and had just started taking lessons. What a THRILL and an HONOR to now be playing with these fine musicians.
We worked on "STAY" one of Lar's songs. How glorious it was to hear Lar's song played on four concertinas. Glorious. Lar would be more than pleased.
I was also surprised with a birthday cake and serenaded by three concertinas and Bonny playing "Happy Birthday." Awesome Friends...Awesome Day!

Great photos on what sounds like a great day -- tell us about that cake: it looks like multiple types merged into one?

Four cakes in one package, i.e., Red Velvet, Double Chocolate, Carrot Cake and Lemon. I had the Red Velvet. Delicious.
