A long amazing story And there is no Halloween in Puerto Vallarta. I can’t walk on the beach. I think the next year is going to be better. 2022. It feels like that long 2020- almost USA & the world souls..... pandemic, fires, floods, tornadoes, violence, riots, opoids, depression, suicides, cancer, environment, healthcare et al. That’s not normal..... abnormally I don’t have a clue until Thursday. Maybe I should just meditation & play the piano peace ☮️

Beautiful day, out twice with the dog. Made creamed chicken, another dish of some veggies, and rice for dinner. Here's a shot, kind of similar theme to one I posted the other day. "Discards-2". Those flowers are some of the most intense reds around, and it even carries over into the stalks. And even lasts when uprooted. This is a tentative edit, I tried to bring the dirt/browns out better, what green there is, too. Hard for this novice to do without 'damaging' the reds.

I must have spent a restless night in hard motel bed. Woke up at 3:30 and could not get back to sleep. Starbucks doesn’t open up for another 12 minutes or so, I’ll be one of the first customers. Another day of driving. And that’s the news from here.

Be safe on the road, Mike. It is dark here. At least when the time changes it will be less dark in the morning. Of course, that means it will get dark at 4:15 in the afternoon. Let’s call back summer and have her stay another week or two.

A cold, dreary morning here. I spent part of yesterday cutting down a mulberry tree that had split, about 7 feet up, and tipped over. This morning I'm paying for holding my big chainsaw above my head while cutting, my shoulders are telling me I shouldn't have done that. Good news is the tree is down, cut into manageable size pieces and piled up to burn at a later date.

Good morning. It's still dark here. After doing a crossword I checked Google News. However much we may disagree about politics, I suspect we're all tired of reading about the campaign. Why should I care which cities the candidates will visit today? Enough already.
My Zoom social breakfast meeting will be at 8:00. I may go to the grocery afterwards or we may go to the nursery. My wife wants bulbs.
Positive thoughts and a prayer for Kim Frank. Enjoy your day.

Dueling dailies, so I just picked one. Today I take Mr. H for his second COVID test. No, he doesn't have any reason to think he has it. This is in preparation for his Monday cataract surgery. For the surgery, I will hang around in the parking lot until he is definitely checked in. Probably he will come out and hand me his valuables, then I drive home and wait for about 3 hours.
After the test today, we go pick up a prescription and some other items. Then do our walk in the afternoon when it's warmer. Then we have a 5:00 PM neighborhood watch meeting on Zoom.
Last night's Zoom choir practice ran into technical difficulties, so we talked for a half hour before giving up. Not a Zoom problem, I don't think. Director was out of town and the person filling in couldn't make it work.

Some local storm damage here from Zeta. Trees and power lines down, and a fair number of people without electricity. I'm thankful that the Cason house appears to have suffered no damage.

Good morning
I merged the two dailies and now I'm going to do a little shop time before logging in to the Medicare site and trying to figure out which plan I need. I see a headache in my near future.
Pine Island 86F.
Heartfelt wishes for Kim.
