Scott and I are heading out to the German Market Christmas Faire today. It’s an outdoor event so we will be able to keep our distance from others and stay safe. He has recovered from COVID very nicely and he feels great. I thank God for that. We are looking forward to a day of polka music, great German food and maybe a little beer.
Have a great day everyone.

Good morning. It's chilly out now but it will be sunny and should reach 70.
My wife's father died yesterday. No condolences are necessary. He was a fine man--John B. met him--but he almost 94 and had been going downhill for quite a while. There wasn't much quality left in his life. It was time. My wife would concur with all that and yet it's still hard for her.
There's not much planned today. The virus numbers have gotten bad again here so we're not going anywhere indoors unless it's essential.
Have a good day.

Spectacular day here. 40’s, sun, and low wind. Got half of our modest Christmas lighting up yesterday. I’ll do the shop decorations today and then try to squeeze in a trip to the hiking trails or do one last paddle.

Looking at Xmas lights for the house exterior today. That means digging through stuff in the garage and seeing what still works. Gotta do our bit to chase away the darkness.

Good morning.
Getting some coffee in me and then down to the shop.
Still trying to get use to where Tyler has moved some things, but if it's out of my way I'll put up with it.
I have a lot of parts cabinets containing several hundred drawers. I pretty much know what and where everything is but I'll be damned if I can find the drawer with the neck plates. Back to looking so I can get that First Act bass put together and working.
Pine Island 80F.

It looks like this may be the last day of 50 degree weather for some time, so I decided I should spend it at the cabin. The cabin was 38 degrees when I arrived but I've got some heat on and I'm wearing my level 4 Underarmour, so I'm staying comfortable.

I went for a little 600-mile drive today, went very smoothly until I got lost trying to find my Airbnb. Here now, though, and it's perfect.

When we are pulling the trailer we are shooting for not longer than 5 hours behind the wheel. Any longer, for me now, and it feels like a death march. Mike

Mike 8 1/2 hours to get to where I was going, then another 75 miles of running around trying to find the place, as my phone had died. So I am really glad to be STANDING UP and net-surfing.

So how is the weather where you are, Bill, and how is the place? Curious readers want to know.

We will need a bathroom and coffee report.
