It was 57 yesterday. It was 14 when I got up this morning. It is 12 right now. Everything changes.

Didn't hear the plow go by but the street is plowed so I can move the truck back in front of the house.
Didn't make the beef stroganoff last night so I will tonight.

We are celebrating Christmas with the kids today. Lots of fun stuff, even though we were cutting back and I didn't want to wrap anything (several gifts I gave were in Target bags).
A good time was had by all.

A very cold, very quiet, very snowy winter's night in Minnesota, as it should be on Christmas Eve. I have the St. Olaf choirs and orchestra on the telly, the thermostat is set at an extravagant 71 degrees, a glass of Spanish red wine and a plate of charcuterie before me. I was hoping to watch the Chiefs/Saints game tonight, but it's being shown only on a cable channel that I don't get. So maybe I will go with the Yule Log channel!
My Christmas gift to myself was paying to have my driveway plowed today. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh................

Well, that was good even with all the commercials. Classic.
In high school in listened to him tell stories on WOR radio Sundays right after the folkshow.
