Why, it's The Weeknd, which apparently is not my cup o' tea. I am amazed you know this. I am amazed you know what the Super Bowl is.

Todd, I try to keep up with the kids, especially so I can tell them, "I try to keep up with the kids." They seem to like that.
For those of you not watching, I put together a highlight reel of the game so far:

This game seems one sided to me. Is this normal? The red team seems disgruntled.

You just hold on to that thought.

Well, if no one thought Brady was the GOAT, um, what about now? I dunno what the hell he’s going to do when he finally retires. Though it kind of looks like he might have a few more years left in him at this rate....

I don't think he can afford to retire before he is old enough to collect Social Security, at least the reduced payment at 62.

The few who didn't think Brady was the GOAT are certainly now even fewer. Arguments about who the greatest is at anything are invariable silly exercises for entertainment purposes only, but if that's the game, it is indisputable that no player in football, or any other major professional sport, has enjoyed the success Brady has over such a period of time and with the number of different teams... not just the Bucs and Patriots, but the Bucs, the Patriots, the Patriots, the Patriots, the Patriots and the Patriots. for if you look at the roosters of the ten Patriot teams Brady played with in the Super Bowl, there were enough different players on each of those teams that they could be regarded very fairly as five or six different teams, not one. (unlike, for instance, the four Steelers Super Bowl teams Bradshaw played with that had essentialy the same rooster each time they went. Same deal with Joe Montana. In Bradshaw's and Montana's pre-free agency/salary cap era, a great team could be kept together for four or five years.) The only constant to the ten Super Bowl teams Brady has played in is Brady (Gronk, for instance, has played in three Super Bowls for the Pats). Oh, and Belichick, the GOAT of coaches. So, over a stretch of 19 years, Brady has played quarterback in 10 Super Bowls, at least seven of those times with a significantly different mix of teammates. By that metric, no other professional athlete is close. I take that back... There is one professional athlete who is close, so close he may well have the better claim to GOATness. I won't argue against him. Brady has been remarkable. This fellow was remarkable. And that is the best place to leave it. Bill RussellIn 13 seasons, Russell won 11 NBA championships...1957, 1959, 1960, 1961, 1962, 1963, 1964, 1965, 1966, 1968, 1969

Heard a couple of sports talking heads discussing Brady's age earlier in the day Sunday. One was saying he was too old and this may be his last gasp and Mahomes was the new GOAT . The other one said they'd be having the same conversation when Brady's 50. I'm not betting against the 2nd guy.
