The house is stirring. It is a new day. Another typhoon gone by, a weak one, but almost as much rain as the other one earlier in the week.

Good morning
49F-57F mostly sunny.
Just shop time today, I think.
This place has returned to being a guitar forum as of the last few days, what happened?

I'll shut off the the inside valve for the hose line outside and drain it. I'll also turn off and close the basement vent fan. Two good projects when I get downstairs.

Morning. Made an impulse buy for a 2015 Taylor something or nuther nylon crossover. It's the bigger body size. Mahogany x cedar, rosewood binding, sweet little koa/maple rosette, gloss, on board Fishman. Sounds pretty good unplugged but not much raw acoustic power. But plugged in sounds great. I musta played for two hours last night thumb picking, strumming. Very low impact and easy fretting. Woo Hoo!
Oh shit.....I own a TAYLOR!

Oh shit.....I own a TAYLOR! Just another DWT ... Here's a quick clip plugged in to a little acoustic amp. Last time I played fingerstyle acoustic we both had brown hair so be advised. You taught me this little melody many years ago at Casa De Hammond. Todd name that chord!

"Oh shit.....I own a TAYLOR!" I read somewhere that Taylors suck. I wouldn't know. Never played one. But it was on the internet so I believed it.
Honestly, that sounds great, Steve.
Good morning, folks. I've done yard work for the last hour. It's in the 70s but I still worked up a sweat. This afternoon I'll get another Covid booster and a flu shot.
Enjoy your day.

Good Morning
Sunny and chilly. Reluctant to turn the heat on. Might play guitar later on, with cold numb fingers as an excuse for poor playing.
Spending some quality time with the tablesaw whilst Dawn is out dealing with a client. Having a workshop directly below Dawn's workspace does cramp my style.
MajorMinor - The new guitar sounds great! Have you signed the Taylor Loyalty Oath?

I'm really moving today, I've already been up to the marina to pick up my boat. Had an oil change and they replaced the lube in the lower unit, they couldn't find anything wrong with it so I got off relatively cheap. Boat is back home and in a day or two it'll go into the barn for the winter.
In an hour or so I'll be heading to CID to get some errands done.

Gonna be a quiet day at home with some guitar picking later. I finally got around to digging weeds out of the front yard this morning before our walk. Had a great, but busy, day yesterday. We met a friend for a sushi lunch, then made a stop at the giant international supermarket. We probably spent over an hour there browsing. Stocked up on sauces, pastes, and powders. Mostly of the Indian type. Could not believe the meat and seafood variety. Everything from chicken feet to ox tails to fish heads. The woman with a Caribbean accent in front of us at the checkout bought $320 worth of ox tails. We only bought some squid and some cooked mussel meat. But it will be worth the drive to visit the place again for more seafood goodies. Plus the place is surrounded by several small ethnic restaurants. Gonna make turkey vindaloo tonight with some cooked turkey breast that I pulled out of the freezer. Time to start cleaning things out and making room for the next turkey after Thanksgiving.
Choir rehearsal last night had 16 singers. We have been having enough of us show up to sound like a choir. It was touch and go for a while when we only had 8 or 9.
