We didn't pronounce the L in almond. It was AH-mund. Caramel was CAR-mul. No second syllable. Still is for me. Cutlery was a common word but pronounced cuttlery. I don't pronounce the T in often. Well, I pronounce it just like the T in soften. British Lucy is full of beans. And this southerner always accented the second syllable of pecan. You are Texas southern. My wife is NC/TN southern.

Beginning roughly ten miles or so north of Newfolden, battery (bat-ter-ree) becomes "batree" (bat-ree). Must be pronounced very quickly. ("batree" is not to be confused with "bat tree", a rookery of bats.)
