Thank you all. Glad to be having another birthday.
Health update. I have been excessively tired and at times short of breath and passed out once in December and again in February so my cardiologist has me wearing a heart monitor. It showed irregular heartbeats and probable AFib.
He ordered a heart catheterization, which I had yesterday. I had apprehensions of needing to be cracked open for bypass surgery and spending my birthday in cardiac intensive care. Praise God that was not the case. The cath lab doctor said he didn't find anything that needed fixing. My arteries are open and my previously installed stents are functioning. I am home.
We will, of course, be continuing to try to identify and fix my problems but I am glad the arteries are clear.
So, yes, all things considered, I am having a good birthday. Thanks.

At our age(s), having birthdays at all is cause for celebration. Not having them in a medical facility is an enhancement (additional charges may apply). And we get to write nice things about you while you're able to read them.
So: Happy birthday, funny guy. You're a credit to the species.
