Thanks, guys. What’s up? Finished my latest book yesterday, first in a new series. Need to get all the publishing and promo stuff ready for that, and of course, I have a new song recorded for it. Spent some time early this week recording a blues solo for a song by my buddies in the Garage Band Collective, and that went really well — my strat through a Nobles OD1 overdrive, straight into Logic. Spent last night at my acoustic jam, and it was a great evening. So, it’s all damned fine, actually. Today we’re going out for brunch. Will celebrate with the girls on Saturday, when my youngest can get home. The other two are here now, and of course, Susan will cook a most excellent steak when everyone is here. If you were expecting a great life for your birthday, you've already got one. Happy birthday, Rick! No doubt you enjoyed the day. |

Because I realize that you're dying to find out, that brisket stroganoff was good, but not stellar by any means. Came home with about two-thirds of a huge portion, so there is that, I guess, and maybe I can jazz it up.
None of the stroganoffs I've tried in the Twin Cities are strogy enough for me, they seem to lack that sour in the gravy that is so essential. Next stop, Moscow on the Hill in St. Paul.

Came home with about two-thirds of a huge portion, so there is that, I guess, and maybe I can jazz it up. None of the stroganoffs I've tried in the Twin Cities are strogy enough for me, they seem to lack that sour in the gravy that is so essential. Next stop, Moscow on the Hill in St. Paul. Yeah, otherwise it’s just creamed beef on noodles. Susan makes a decent one, got to have that touch in it or it’s blah. |
