Finally Friday. How time passes. How things change.
Everybody except all the resident retirees.
Hoo boy.

25 years ago today, Sue and I got married in the St. Louis County Courthouse in St. Louis, MO.
I don't know what the poor woman did to deserve this, I keep asking her just how many mirrors she has broken over her life, because her bad luck streak seems to never end.
Already getting warm here in Souix City, we plan to stop by the Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center before it gets too hot.
Have a good day!

Congratulations, Joe & Sue.
And, once again, it’s hot, hazy, smoky and very dry. Maybe rain this weekend. Maybe.
That looks like a terrible video, btw.

That was the general idea.

Apparently, my old college roommate, Jay ran into Marshall at an open mic in suburban Chicago yesterday. They remembered each other from a guitar gathering in Hills Illinois many years ago. That one might have even been pre-sound hole. Does anyone remember? I have a picture, but can’t figure out how to post it here from my phone.

Oh, how we long for our younger days. Especially when we had enough bandannas to go around.

Ugh! Two versions of the same horrible video. It’s more than I can take! Almost. Pretty close, anyway.

Good morning. 70F-90F mostly cloudy. Without the humidity temps are quite bearable with no AC. We haven't put the units in yet but that only take a few minutes. I will have to leave the house for a little while today but shop work comes first. Got a guy bringing his brand new Hummingbird by for me to inspect.

The heat is ratcheting up, which tends to happen in June before the rains start. Gonna be 101 today and 113 by Monday. That would not be bearable without A/C. Planning an expedition today to the giant Asian grocery store, where we will get various sauces, frozen seafood, and exotic fruits and veggies. I'm about to go bring a cooler into the house so we have a chance of getting things home in good condition.
Had a very nice dinner last night at a fancy Italian restaurant in the Foothills. Excellent service and food. The place was busy for early on a Thursday in the summer.

Morning. Camping in Stevenson WA, at Timberlake Campground. And, surprise, they seem to have working internet. Nita is snoozing in, I’m drinking coffee, and about to head over to the rally hosts for some breakfast. On tap for today, is a visit to a brewery. Get it? On tap? Nevermind.

I agreed to install a small exhibit of photos in the room at church where almost every meeting occurs. It'll be there from when I get it up (this morning) until probably September. That doesn't sound like much but I had to measure the display area to see how many photos were needed, decide which photos to enlarge, correct those decisions by ordering different photos, and mat and frame the results. Ego kept intruding on what was originally just a way to pitch in. Putting the photos up will be awkward. I'll still be glad when I get them up today and can't tinker with this project any more.

Eh. CNC guy is out this week and we needed a job out so I fired up the CNC and proceeded to screw the first door up. Waiting for the glue to dry so I can go back out and do it right. Hopefully.
Apparently I'm not as good once as I ever was.

It looks to be a nice day and weekend.
I see that my bank, "Umpqua Bank," had a data breach. Umpqua, like the state of Oregon DMV, uses "MOVEit," a third party, to transfer data. So if the crooks did not get my Social Security number through DMV, they will get it from my bank.
Of course, some crook probably already has it because of the prior data breach with one of the credit reporting agencies. Oh, and now they will have my employer ID as well.
Here is part of the bank's email to me:
The MOVEit incident is the result of a major cyber event involving federal agencies and corporations around the world. The threat actor behind this incident has threatened to publish sensitive information acquired through the vulnerability.
Crazy times.
