Good morning.
An old friend was running for mayor of Houston and came in fifth out of seventeen candidates. He says he had fun campaigning. I guess we all have different ideas of fun.
About a month ago I was asked to run the arts program at our church. The task mainly involves scheduling and assisting with exhibits of paintings and photography. This morning I'll assist a guy who has an exhibit scheduled with the practical details of putting one up. I didn't want this task but it's turning out to be kind of fun. I'm also trying to arrange for a few people to discuss varieties of creativity that can't be hung on a wall.

My second eye surgery is this afternoon. If this one turns out as good as the first one, I’ll be thrilled.
We took the Verde Canyon Train ride yesterday to see the sights of the Verde River valley for the 4th time.
It was incredible seeing it all with the new eye seeing 20/20 again.

No where to go today except down to the shop.
Think I'll break out the slow cooker and make some Korean BBQ beef short ribs.

Swapping tires on the final vehicle this morning; two mine, two the kid's, all snow-tired by day's end.
Might stop at McDonald's. The "Buy one Sausage Egg McMuffin, get the second for a buck" deal is on. That is a good deal. Especially if you like Sausage Egg McMuffins. Even more so if you love them!

I just woke up and I haven't had my coffee yet. I saw an article sounded and weird also.

I make an exception for the chicken sandwich at Culvers & I have pizza 3-4 times a year. And I did have a burger at Wendy’s in 1971. |
