Good morning. Florida cold today, we should get up into the low 60's. Armored rugby today, perhaps the Bucs can secure least mediocre of the most mediocre division in the league. We'll see. Outside of that it's the usual routine. Have good ones.

Off to the Amazon. This will be my last mandatory Amazon Sunday. As a regular I can volunteer if I want some overtime hours (I will. My pay cut will be severe as a regular).

Good morning. There's a high chance of a small amount of rain as a front passes through. This afternoon I'll cook chicken thighs on the smoker, weather permitting. Enjoy your day.

It finally snowed. Not a lot but, until the temperatures rise a bit, it covers my world.

Cold, gray, and raining in New York, about 35°F. Yuck.
Had a pleasant, if long day yesterday, entertaining two friends from Europe. She is from Warsaw and he is from Nice. Somehow they have made this long-distance relationship work—for years. Impressive.
The day began at 10:15 am with a walking tour of various parts of Brooklyn, lunch out, followed by hanging out at home and then dinner. I cooked. My daughter baked a pound cake. Even though this couple is considerably younger than we are, they had just arrived at 3:00 am Thursday and were jet-lagged but courageous. Our dog was all over them. I commended them for their stamina, but we took good care of them. They are going to attend services in an AME church in Harlem this morning because they would like to hear a gospel choir sing.
Today, back to some chores and practicality. Perhaps an afternoon nap.
Cheers, Soundholers.

Long distance relationships are easy. It’s moving into the same house that sometimes causes explosions. I know a couple who have been together, unmarried, for 50 years. They live apart and would have killed each other years ago if they tried to live together.

This forum needs a button that reads "_________ agrees with this"
They are planning to settle in together at some point soon, just outside Nice. I think Nice is a lot Nicer than Warsaw. I wish them the best of luck.

Light agenda today: beard trim at Great Clips, provisions pickup at Morelli's Market, Vikes/Lions watching, leftovers eating. I'd watch the Bears/Packers game but who would I root for?
Speaking of the latter, Aaron Rodgers has gone totally bat-poop.

Good morning.
21F-29F cloudy.
A busy day yesterday but a nice one. Shop time flew by due to all the people dropping in either picking up or having me inspect guitars. One was a early 70s Gibson J-200 that needs a reset, frets, new bridge, new plate, loose back braces and a huge crack down the back. It's been that way for a long time meaning repairing it will be quite a challenge. I didn't take it in yet as I have limited storage.
As for today it will be our usual Sunday.
72 Days Until Spring.

It’s hard to get used to reading the newspaper online. When I am done I keep throwing my IPad into the recycle bin.

Eric and I still have a gig booked for early March. So unless or until Eric sells his house and moves, we are still planning on doing it. So today will be our first practice in a few months. I need to brush the dust off the setlist.
Packer/Bear game tonight. A must win for the Packers. Should be interesting.

Raining and cold. 36 degtprees outside, according to the weather app on my iPad. Lazy day, nothing planed except making a pot of chilli. Pulled Wordle out by the skin of my teeth. Time for coffee.

A pass on fourth and 2 that could have been thrown just a little better to hands that could have been just a little stickier and a promising comeback win for the Colts dissolved not with a bang, but a whimper.

Fired up a snowblower for only the third time all winter. Enough snow to make everything nice and white, but not enough to warrant Chomper, Little Guy (that's his name) was just perfect. Little Guy was a great buy.

Looks like it will be a loooooooooooooong day for the Vikes in Detroit, oh well.
On a lighter note, I drove past a pet grooming shop today whose name amused me: ANIMAL HOUSE.

I think Nice is a lot Nicer than Warsaw. That may be true but Warsaw is a lot Warsawier than Nice.
