Well... yes. You never know what you will get, but you just can't beat their prices. Paul, updated my instructions with illustrations

How the heck do you get that little circle thingie that indicates degrees? You are making the rest of us look like a bunch of wankers. On an iPhone, just long-press the zero and the degree symbol will pop up as a choice.

Thanks, Rob!
I found it on my phone (my final screen button to push is marked 1/2).
But, I only use my phone for calling people and I can't find either of the two tablets I have purchased. If I can't post at my ease on my dandy laptop and in my favorite chair, I don't post. And if this forum's software doesn't have it, I don't have it. My life is hard enough without adding any more hurdles.
(ok, so my life is only hard in relative terms that probably don't scale up too well outside of my life)
Say, does this look at all like a little circle * ? Maybe if you rotate your head real fast?
But, sincerely, thanks for the instructions... especially the picture instructions, with the arrows.
(don't know how that is done either. And probably won't learn. My therapist tells me I have so damn many limits I will never overcome that I had best just learn to live with them)
((Casper is my therapist... which is just another issue I have to deal with.))

We haven't done our walk today. We are not going to. We've had a few 25 mph gusts and 45 mph gusts are in the forecast. The temperature is dropping too and we're supposed to have another hard freeze tonight. My basil has passed away.
Just learned that on Monday our across-the-street neighbor slipped on ice and broke her kneecap. This is not common in Tucson. She should be out of the hospital tomorrow, so we'll see if there's anything we can do for her.
First choir practice of the season tonight. I really don't want to go, but probably will. I am a weather wimp.

Good to know. That's something I should let my blind students know. On my iPhone I usually use my microphone for texting because I don't like typing with my thumbs. I send a lot of gobbledygook that way, but when I mention the temperature the degree symbol always shows up.

Good morning. We've got another Florida cold day ahead of us It's been a week of dog expenses for us. First Abbie the labradors UTI, yesterday Isha the chihuahua was in pain for unknown reasons, took her to the vet and after 900 plus dollars it turned out she has pancreatitis. Got both dogs on meds and they are on the mend. Now I'm praying Dax the whippet stays healthy......... Outside of that, Claire and I are going to see Elvis Costello tonight. He's been a bucket list artist for me to see so I'm looking forward to it. Great songwriter. I also made arrangements to drive over to this guys shop next Wednesday to check out his instruments. Looks really interesting, and tempting. Green Swamp MusicHave a great day folks. Where did you come up with the name’Dax?’

Slept late today. Grocery shopping this morning before the weather turns tomorrow. If the worst of the forecasts happen, we will be house bound until Tuesday. But that’s ok, Safeway has Tillamook ice cream on sale, Nita will make soups in the slow cooker, and there is plenty of coffee that is not a week old and growing things. I'm watching the Mecum auction from Kissimmee, where this roadgoing version of a 1966 Ford GT-40 race car just sold for $6.3 million. In contrast to Florida, snow has started falling here, temp has shot up to 14 degrees and wind remains brisk.
