We are up early because of doctor appointments. Coffee tastes different this early. Another hot day on tap. Maybe little rain?

Good morning. I’m up early so I can be in place with my camera and tripod when the mountains start lighting up. It’s 50° outside. I wish I could take that home.
All is well. Have a good day.

It’ll be another hot one today. Maybe some rain tonight. Not a whole lot in store for today.

I had it together enough this morning to get a protein-rich sandwich into Her Grace, who just left to take her statewide exam in AP US History. We know she'll crush it.
On edit: Doing laundry now, playing guitar for a bit.
Have a good day and stay cool, folks.

Good morning
65F-84F windy and warm.
I think just shop time today unless I need something from the hardware store.
DaWife called me first thing this morning to let me know the first of her retirement bonus checks was deposited and that I can now actually book rooms and flights for our trip to Kauai. She even put a little Mad money in my account, tool, shiny.

Heading over for a cardiac catheterization/coronary angioplasty this morning, so there’s that.
Neither we nor the doc expect anything exciting.

Just edited a piece by our Travel section editor, who last month rode the new Rise of Icarus water slide at Wisconsin Dells, 145 feet tall, 260 steps to climb. Even with speeds of up to 30 mph, the ride down takes over 20 seconds. He said the first time was terrifying, but the next day, more rides were joyful.

Good morning. Slept in a bit today. Motivation came to me later in the day yesterday, and I ended up shopping, mowing the lawn, doing some basic maintenance on the bicycles and taking an evening bike ride. Hence sleeping in a bit today. Later this afternoon I'll be heading up to Crystal River for the bi-weekly song circle. Have a great day folks.

We are up and have already walked the dogs for the day. Now off to the gym. Some grocery shopping is the only task planned otherwise. Only a high of 102 expected today.

Extremely muggy, cloudy at the moment. Might get a little rain, but not enough to benefit green plants.
Shopping for summer shirts this morning. I hate shopping. Workshop time later.
Dub - I hope you have a boring day.

Back home from a haircut trip to Vinton, a haircut I should have had over a week ago.
Next up is the rock tumbler, one of them should have completed their mission and be ready to open. The bigger tumbler should be done on Thursday.
Music practice this afternoon.

I once read that Cary Grant had his hair cut weekly.

Morning!
Large rain systems roamed the region yesterday. They all went by just to the West of us. But after midnignt was our turn, 2.5 inches! Wind, but not strong wind. Lightnings, but not enough to send Casper to his hidey-hole in the basement. Just one band of rain after another all night long. On top of the 1.5" we had last week, we're good.

Sneezy Phoebe is now back to normal Phoebe since the removal of the fox tail. I hope that means that the vet got it all. Some office work done and some to do, then it is time to clip the clover heads from the lawn and sample the cherries.
I cannot remember if the cherries are Bing or Lambert, but they are currently red. I will keep tasting them until they are nearly black. Then it is time to invite the family over to have a pickin' and eatin party. Hopefully they will ripen before too many birds or the neighborhood racoon find them.

Our Social Security checks were deposited today, which was a surprise because they usually arrive on the third Wednesday. Apparently the federal Juneteenth holiday moved them up a day. I'll try to resist spending the money early.

Heading over for a cardiac catheterization/coronary angioplasty this morning, so there’s that. Neither we nor the doc expect anything exciting. Good luck! I've had three heart catherizations. Two resulted in stents and the latest just confirmed that my stents were working fine with no new ones needed.
