No conspiracy going on -- we all came here for different reasons. I came here because I ( and everyone else here) were repeatedly called a$$holes by the current TTT administrator and I have PM's from her Arch companion that says she was correct. Ken's departure is fine -- he'll retrun when/if he's ready. It's all good.

Well, it's nice to know that TTT didn't collapse because of me! Ethel says it did. You all hated me so you left. And you all don't want me here. Nice talk.
I told her the truth, but a man hears what he wants to hear and disregards the rest, I suppose.

I started this forum because there were a lot of us emailing, and CC'ing everyone on those emails, trying to keep in touch. It got bothersome. People were complaining about their inboxes filling up, not getting mail, getting returned mail, etc. I set this forum up literally in a matter of about 10 minutes. I remember telling people I had it set up if we wanted to converse here to make it easier than sending 10,000 emails. At first, folks thought it was best to wait and see if TTT calmed down. Eventually, someone said we shoul duse this forum to communicate. It wasn't until a couple days later that everyone was here, and the atmosphere was good, and various people had just had enough of what TTT had become. With 60 plus members in a matter of days, it was less and less temporary. There was no conspiracy, no planned exit, and no intent to leave anyone excluded. All we decided was to have some rules in place to help curb the type of behavior that others thought contributed to the split. I have all the original emails and conversations stored, if anyone would like the proof. If making this forum to keep our friendships and good times alive makes me a fascist, then I suppose I am fascist. I've been called worse. As far as I am concerned, we had a good run. It is what it is, and that's all it is. Put it behind us and move on. We are all much too old to act like a bunch of children.

The only reason I came over was because I don't consider my day complete unless I get at least one look at Cribbs' avatar. If you could re-draw him with some jack boots and a little moustache I'd never log out. You expected me to be serious........? Paul PS - what Bill said.

I like both places. Some folks feel this is home, some feel TTT is home, Some both. In the end you go were the weather suits your clothes. Me? I packed for different climates so I`m fine at both places. In the end though Its not the places but the friendships built, the knowledge gathered from traveling together and the experience. The split may have embittered some(I`m not exluding me in that) but what is important is what you bring and what is even more important than any of this is life away from the keyboard..It goes on regardless.

I agree totally, but cripes, Bill, you really look stupid in that cheerleader costume. Would you at least shave your legs?

We don't need to delete discussions about the other forum here. I expect that adults can manage to talk about something that concerns them without it turning into WWIII. I wish to point out that the other forum has its own troubles that do not concern this place. If people wish to drag the problems of the other forum in here by commenting on what someone from here said somewhere else it is easily ignored. Anything is. We don't need free speech zones in a respectful place. We just need to be respectful. It's why we're here rather than there. Ken, I'm sorry you think you need to leave. Sek, I'm not really seriously suggesting that we start deleting threads. I do, however, wish we could stop having this conversation. It is just fueling the fires. Ahh well, I suppose they'll die down eventually. Tim

Matt, Family Guy is without a doubt, in my opinion, the best show on TV, BAR NONE.

It is truly hilarious..It is one show that in my opinion has gone beyond the Simpsons as far as cartoons with a social commentary are concerned. They played it here in Aus back to back with American Dad. I have my whole family hooked on The Family Guy.
