Getting a jump on east coast time I guess. I've filled up 12G on the iPod, listening to some stuff on what was in boxed sets I haven't played in awhile. This music is so accessible!

Bob,
Have you gotten into building playlists by all possible criteria yet? Style, artist, writer, random nonsense that only makes sense to you? OMG that's fun. iTunes is at least half the fun of iPod. Enjoy.

Good morning, good looking day here, sposed to reach 60 or higher.
Which means ...... PERFECT for yardwork ....
So, OF COURSE, I am grabbing my Wisconsin map book and GETTING OUTTA TOWN!!!!
If nothing else, to flee the wrath of a certain Significant Other, who is rightfully PO'd at her boyfriend, who realized last night that he had long ago accepted a gig (signed a contract and everything) on the same date as that of her sister's wedding, at which we were supposed to do some music.
Anyone have an e-mail address for an Identity Changing Service?
Gonna see "Borat" today, too. Then host an open mike tonight.
Hope everyone has a splendid day.

"Long ago" as in before you knew about the sister's wedding? Because if it was already a done deal and all you did was not realize the conflict until a bit late in the game, that's a pretty minor infraction. Well, unless you're the man and she's the woman in which no infraction at all is still your fault.

Good morning! It doesn't look good Bill and I can't even think of a good story to get you out of this one and I'm a master at those kind of stories--I've been married 49 years. I'll work on it.

If you can run this gauntlet, Bill, you're in. Let it be a horrible test of your relationship.
Looking forward to Indian Summer here. It's been in the thirties and low forties, next week it's 60s and 70s, that wonderful break Mother Nature always works in before winter comes upon us.

Today I take on the task of adding weather stripping to several outside doors, installing a shower head and snaking the shower drain. It may not be a whole lot of work, but it makes me feel manly.
I've also been working on a (very simple) arrangement of a Christmas song. I think with a few days of practicing with a metronome, I might be ready to record it.

Just back from tearing up Wisconsin roads and having a 9,287-calorie breakfast ober dere -- eggs, toast, pork loin, huge plate of hash browns. Came to $6.75 with coffee and tax.
Man, I love Wisconsin.
And I got back and Barb had called, so I called her and guess what !?!?!??!?!
HER SISTER'S WEDDING IS NOT ON THE WEEKEND WE FEARED AND I AM OFF THE HOOK!!!
Whew. That was a close one.
Now on to "Borat" in a couple hours.

Hey Bill visiting Wisconsin as much as a Illinoisan as of late. I still have New Car Fever, the roads won't be dry much longer and the sun was shining. Oh, and I filled up yesterday at $2.06. p.s. My little 135-mile jaunt this morning, which involved quite a bit of back-road floorboarding, delivered 22 mpg. Not great, not awful.

OMG that's fun. iTunes is at least half the fun of iPod. Enjoy. Tim iTunes is very cool. I've built a couple of playlists, but I've been working on simply getting all my music in there. My wife will be happy when I get all the CDs out of the living room. I must admit that 1600 CDs don't look all that great surrounding the fireplace. A plasma TV will look a lot better.

I'm reminded of some friends of mine. He made some smart a** comment and his wife said "That's it. I'm withholding sex for a week".
To which my friend instantly responded : "I'm getting sex next week? Whoo Hoo! "
