This is a rock song built around a hook. The hook does like this: dum DEEEE, dumdum DEEEE, dum DEEEE, dum. Got that?
Every day the sky is gray Sarah knows no other way She can see a world of rain She can see a door Through the door there comes a light Could be wrong, could be right It’s a way to break the chain She goes through the door
Who knows if the dawn will come Some are singing, some are numb Some are breaking from the strain Some go through a door Where she went I cannot know I can’t help but wonder though Maybe it was not in vain Now I’ll close that door
Doesn’t matter what we say Night will roll in any way But it might help ease the pain If we find a door Through the door we’ll see a light Could be wrong, could be right Ain’t a lot to lose or gain By going through a door

On first read; it's got a nice beat. I think I could dance to it. . . , um . . . , Actually like the mysterious nature. But I'm expecting some revelation and the end that ties it together.
The; Ain’t a lot to lose or gain By going through a door lines leave me a kinda flat. I was expecting some kind of answer.
