I love rivers, probably because I live in the desert. We value what's scarce. This is the Agua Fria.

kb, thanks. This one doesn't run year 'round. Most of the year it does but in May and June, which are our driest months, it often dries up. I took this recently and the river was low but still there. All that gravel is usually covered with water. Jim, it's true that you can tell the difference between a desert river and the Mississippi. Ours are oases of animal and plant life.

Looks more like somebody is washing their car in the driveway up the block than a river.
But a very nice photo just the same. I've created a Flake directory to deposit desert photos. Right next to sek1 & sek2.
