Last night I tried to do some recording. I can sure tell I've got a lot of work yet to do. I posted it on myspace so if any of you want to hear how the recovery is going..... <Link did not work> I tried adding a link, I don't know if it will work. The tune is called "13th Week" at www.myspace.com/oldtexasIt has a uke, guitar, 6 string banjo and cello. It just drones along with a bunch of noodling... not any composition.

The problem with putting posts in this section, right where they belong, is that they can get lost in here. I'll have to remember to check your link when I have a computer with sound.

I don't know how we're supposed to judge your recovery from this, but I like the song.

Thanks fingerplucked. My playing still has a ways to go to get back to where I was before the beast (the stroke) arrived. I got the metronome out last night to work on my timing. My two year old grandson was taken to the "tick-tock" and actually took it a couple of times.

It's wonderful! I can see it as movie soundtrack music! Way to go. You play cello, too?!??!
Is there no end to your talents???

Bill, I wish I could play cello. I bought one a few years ago from Elderly in hopes of learning how to play it. If I spend an hour or so on it I can almost play something simple in tune. Its a kick to play around with though. I love the sound they make.
