Arrrggggh....the dogs must be hallucinating...they've been barking for the last hour (they overnite in the kitchen), but when I came downstairs to see why, they just were soooooo happy to see me. They're resting now and I'm hoping that by closing the windows, whatever was setting them off will STOP, and I'll be able to get some more sleep. See ya in a few hours.

Good morning. I will be spending the better part of the day waiting at the hospital. Wayne is having a stint placed in his right leg. He has had a clot there for several years, the doctor has now decided it is time to do something about it. He should be home tomorrow.

Bring your guitar johnee. Best wishes for Wayne. Interesting assemblage of girlfriends my daughter had over last night to watch the game. One is only 18 and already has her undergrad degree from Oxford. The "real" Oxford. ! Another is as country as country gets. Cute as a bug.

Good Morning
Breakfast with Bill, if I can get DaWife and 2 granddaughters moving. The girls have summer school and we have been dropping them off in the morning. As Kaiah informed me " Papa this is summer school for good kids not bad kids".

Half day today. Brought in my old lawnmower, electric trimmer and electric edger to give to a young guy here who just bought his first house. We'll drop it off at lunchtime and then it's off for a doctor's appt to get a clean bill of health on my skin cancer that was removed six weeks ago. Tomorrow we head for upstate NY for a Heretz family reunion at Delta Lake State Park. We haven't seen my soon-to-be 90-year-old father-in-law (did I just use up my hyphen quota for the month?) since last summer so we're looking forward to the visit.

After yesterday's storms it's going to be hot again. I'm guessing this means more storms this afternoon.

Should be a good day. Starting out beautifully.
Got to go to New York for business, though. Won't be back until tomorrow afternoon.
On the other other hand, yesterday I got the call from the new federal agency I'll be working for in a few weeks. Just have to firm up the salary match and start date. Should really be a fascinating couple weeks once I break the news here.
For anyone who cares, the agency regulates my current industry and, once it's revealed, ST and Hammond should have a field day ripping on me.
Now you can start the guessing game while I'm gone.

Good mornin'!It's gonna be another hot day, but it is summer and this is Kansas, so that's no surprise.
I played my Martin 000-1 for about an hour this morning. It's one of the original 1-series, not the recently introduced ones. Every time I pick up that little guitar, I'm amazed at the sound that comes out. The tone of that guitar belies it's modest price.
Y'all have a great day!
Tom

Good morning. Hot again, yesterday it hit 100.
I'm generally a Clint Eastwood fan so I saw the one about the Comero last night. Don't waste your time or $$. It's on Pay Per View now.
I was looking to do a motorcycle trip to eastern Tennessee next month for the National BMW rally in Johnson, Tennessee. I won't make that because of Jane's illness. She is not responding to radiation like I thought she would and will soon start on Chemo. In her already weakened state she's in for some problems I fear.
Anyway being a nurse keeps you busy. In thirty minutes we go to radiation and it's only 7:30 am. I haven't had time to post but you can count on me lurking. Have a good one.

Good morning folks. It was hot yesterday and it's going to be hot again today. We went from March to July in a week! I'm not complaining. It's gorgeous out there in the early morning cool. The garden is gorgeous.
Not much to report either. Hey doug, where are you guys and what are you doing?
Roy, bless you for your loving care. It means more than you think.

Good morning. It's very nice out now but it'll get hot. I've been learning a banjo roll. Had to go to a school board meeting last night and there's another one this evening. Enjoy your day.

What a difference a few hours makes. Yesterday, the boss and I went biking at lunch. We had a 105 degree heat index. Brutal is the word that comes to mind.
This morning, I decided to ride at 0630. Man, it was nice out.
Nothing significant to report! Hope this finds you all well.
