What a beautiful place Flake.
I would be inclined to try to add a little contrast to this one. Something completely black and something very white. Ya think?

I agree, sekh. I only have access to the Canon utility software at the moment, though. This one will change when I can do some PP.
SteveO, thanks.

Very impressive!
Are you related to Ansel Adams?

uummmmmm.
I've said this before, but I have a problem with black and white photography. It seems so emotionless; so detached. That's certainly a valid aesthetic tool for an artist to use, I know.
But there's so much richness in a landscape like this that I almost feel a little cheated being forced to see such a stark emotionless image. There certainly is a lot of richness in texture and composition. And the contrasts would not be as apparent in color. It has more of a 2D abstract quality in B&W. But I would be more engaged in color.

I understand, Marshall. Me, I have a weakness for black and white. Now I have a "gallery" of sorts and there's an improved version of this one on it. Gallery

Don't tell Kate you're giving them away for free in full reso.
Do you want votes?

Any feedback would be appreciated, Marshall. I think there's a feature that let's me block copies at high resolution but I haven't tried to find it yet. I don't think their are hordes of people waiting to steal my photos.
