Yesterday on the surveyor's bulletin board, a surveyor from New York posted a link to an archive of live/bootleg/home recordings. If it wrong or offends anyone's delicate sensibilities, I apologize profusely...well not really because now I am listening to a pre-Beatles rehersal recording made by them before they were even the Silver Beatles. The list of recording is awesome. Check it out if you are of a mind.

Wonder how long before the roof caves in on this one.
Interesting, though.

Course I tell you, you start listening, tell your myraid friends, bandwidth is exceeded, down it goes and no more vintage live recordings. So I changed my mind...it is not moral, legal, or ethical for you guys to listen. Take the high road fer pity sake! Have some integrity...stay away!

If you weren't as low down as I, you could be listening to 1969 Chicago at the Fillmore. Next, I think some '69 Creedence might make my afternoon a little more tolerable.

No, forget that. I found Delaney & Bonnie with guests Duane & Gregg Allman with a couple of guys from Little Feat recorded in New York 1971.

I brought up that Cactus concert and am playing it now. I thought it was the one I attended at the Fillmore West in AUG.

I thought better of you than this, Evan. But as long as you are selling out your soul, keep me posted via email of any especially good stuff you find. The Delaney- Bonnie started out pretty rough but it's getting better. They are just jamming and having fun.

I get good things from this site quite often - www.dimeadozen.org/index.phpIt's a bittorrent (peer to peer sharing) site. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BittorrentThe policy is only to share music and DVDs that have no commercial releases. IE legal. Artists are not losing royalties. ABC (yet another bittorrent client) is good software for downloading the stuff. It's a bit of a learning curve but worth it. Once in a while something stellar turns up. Johnny Cash Sun studio demos sneaked through as did some great Nelson Riddle, Sinatra stuff.
