Good morning!
Had a gig last night that was fun, but forced me to get way too little sleep.
Dang job just keeps getting in the way of my rock stardom.

TGIT. Three day weekend for me and catching up on a ton of chores and projects like the humidifier that almost flooded the basement last week, the heater in the truck that stopped working, the leaves that are covering the yard--oh yeah, and finish the wallboard joints in the hobby room.
I hope the truck heater is NOT the blender thing that will require a $1000 dashboard removal to fix a stupid plastic part. I see online that there's an alternative that requires you to cut a hole into the heater box with a dremel tool ... It could be something as simple as a stripped knob--I just haven't had time during daylight hours to look at it what with company for five days and then the four day trip to upstate NY.

Good morning.
I'm pissed off at Netflix. I checked the mailbox, and there was my DVD of "Road to Perdition". Of course, I didn't check the mail until 11:30pm, so I ended up staying up have the night watching it.
Great movie. One of my favorites. It was worth it.

Good morning. Not a very gabby bunch, are you?
As Doug said, it's chilly, 44F here. I love it.

Fiddlerina and I watched Giant last night. Neither of us had ever seen it. - Dub

Anyway, the decision is made. Christine is not going to Oxford. Believe it or not, more grad school doors will open if she stays on her current track.
I wanted her to go, but I wasn't looking forward to cleaning out her educational savings acct. It's all good.

G'morning. A very rainy day ahead so it will be a guitar day for sure.
I have decided to take two to three weeks and go to the BMW National Rally in Redmond Oregon. That is if Jane is doing OK. I won't do it if she's not OK or needs me here. The Dr. says she will be fine and she has already given me a kitchen pass. I'm at the planning stages now--the fun part for me.
I've never traveled much 'cept by air. All those times I should have been seeing this country my head was stuck in a law book. I've only been west of El Paso one time and that was to see my brother in California. Never north of Colorado Springs. I'd like to make up for some of this on this trip.
I'll spend about half my nights camping and it's a good bet that I'll have company. They will come out of the woodwork as time draws near.
Have a good one and let me know if there is something along the way you think I might want to see. The history of the area is high on my proirity list.

Big decision, Evan. Interesting one - just going to Oxford would terribly cool.
Oh - Good morning.
