...and I still haven't fallen off my cloud. Last time a gig made me feel like that was Curtis Mayfield, a long time ago. I've been urging all my pals to try and see them. This song is written from an interview with a teenage girl mine worker in 1842. I may be getting a bit uppity for a newbie here. Sorry ) www.youtube.com/watch?v=wmhACB1ZPQM

What a great tune, James. She's got a great voice. Not a whole lot of stage presence, but the music is wonderful.

Glad you liked it. Let me assure you, they've got enough presence up close to make you feel like laughing and crying (which I quietly did) and they do clog dancing too! They're the anti American idol/x-factor act I've been craving.

That's a high quality video there. Multiple cameras. Great musical performance. Not quite as glitzie as us jaded Americans would be used to ( ), but high class music, for sure. Weird name; Unthanks. What's that about? Videoed in a church, too.

Rachel Unthank, I see. She's got some other great stuff on Youtube.
Earthy; real; wonderful.
Cool.

Oh they're sisters. The Unthanks sisters.
Probably a stage name?

Just an unusual old surname. We generally defer to and salute the US and it's inventiveness when it comes to odd and colourful names though. Randy Bumgardner! Splendid!
