I've made an appointment with a doc to discuss my insomnia. That happens on Thursday. I'd like to say it is totally due to shoulder surgery, but it isn't. I haven't slept well for years. This pretty much sucks. I'm going back to bed to stare at the walls. Public Service Announcement: Please keep an extra eye open for deer in the road. Tis that part of the year where 1/2 the deer population is chasing the other half, and they don't look both ways. A good friend of mine lost a good friend in a motorcycle accident yesterday when the individual collided with a deer. Keep your eyes open, folks.

G'mornin' - right now I'm watching a rosie sunrise, but in no time at all it's going to be raining again - it's enough to make me wish for snow.

Mornin'.....
28º, heading to 60ishº.
Taking Shay in to get her H1N1 vaccination this morning. Local health dept. finally got a few doses in, expecting more in 3 weeks. Shay falls into one of the higher risk categories being 15, asthmatic, and has only one kidney.

Last night around dusk we saw several deer on the way home. They were more alert and active than the usual lazy grazing. It's almost hunting season and already mating season. This morning in a short stretch there were two dead deer--one in the exact spot where we had seen deer the night before. The other was in the road and the driver behind me stopped--I presume to drag it to the shoulder. Then 200 yards up the road another deer popped out of the bare cornfield--luckily she darted away from us rather than across the road.
You bet I'm looking out. First two years we were down here I think 7 out of 70 staff hit deer--a couple were pretty nasty accidents ($10K damage) but luckily no personal injuries.

Good mornin'!
The deer are acting crazy around here too. I guess I'd be a little crazy too, if I only had the opportunity for sex once a year, Perhaps Hammond could expound on that subject.
Have a great day!

The deer are nuts around here as well. Now that we're back to standard time, I and many others are driving home at dusk, which is perfect deer time, unfortunately.
Dennis, quit using that four-letter word.

G'morning. Another nice day here today.
A friend of mine want to take a ride up to Lake Texoma to check out something he just put on his bike and wants me to go along with him. I told him I'd go as long as we stayed of the back roads 'till at least noon.
I'll check in later and y'all have a nice day.

BTW
Being a shameless Pusher, I want to mention that I'm almost done with this years batch of string winders. I posted in For Sale and will add a photo to that post soon.

Good morning SH,
Sunny cold morning here. After all the rain as long as there is sun I'll not complain about the temperatures in the 40s.
Quiet day ahead. Have to do a phone chat with my mom, go out for my run (and hope I can do 3 miles again today) and then head back downstairs to the home office where I have undertaken a huge reorganizing project. Right now it looks like a bomb went off in there but it seems that kind of endeavor always makes a big mess in order to get to better order in the end.
The next month is crazy busy...the days will fly, I'm sure.

Morning, all. Paul, that doth indeed suck. Sleep and bed should be the one place where things always go well, in many ways. I don't sleep as well as I used to, but I sleep okay. Foggy morning today. Will burn off, and we'll have a fine one. Good stuff to work on today, so I'm happy. It's been a crappy year at work.
