Paul, good luck with the Doc. I don't sleep as well as I used to either, so ask him about me while you're in there.
Nice and sunny here today. Cold, but sunny.

It got down to the 20s here overnight, too, but it's sunny and a good morning for a strong young man (not me) to rake up the millions of maple leaves that cover my back yard.
I'm seeing the surgeon today who moved my Ulnar nerve in the elbow six months ago. Despite my doing all the exercises and seeing a physical therapist recently, my left hand is no better than it was pre-surgery. Terry Kennedy finds it very odd that my pinkie and ring finger, pre-surgery, had normal sensation amid the weakness and non-functionality, which he says points to Ulnar entrapment in the hand itself, not the elbow. He wrote me out a Doc-to-Doc "Document" that I will bring with me.
If it means I have to have a second surgery, so be it. Bring it on. But I gotta do something before these hand muscles waste away entirely.

Good luck with your doc, too.
But what's with the leaves? You said we're supposed to mow them. I've been mowing mine. My house is now surrounded by leaf dust, and I still have one more (hopefully the last) mowing left.

My house is now surrounded by leaf dust, and I still have one more (hopefully the last) mowing left. I can mow the front yard, mostly linden leaves, but the back is just too thick with leaves. I have two huge maples back there.

billiam - sucks about your hand. really. It will be better. Don't be disheartened. Think about how good it will be soon.
Sleepless men in middle age. Lars didn't sleep for years and was pretty grumpy as a result. Ahem. He takes mama's little helpers now and he wakes refreshed and raring to go. He's happy too! Much recommended. Never mind the addiction, be happy.
