That ship sailed before the ordinary investors heard anything. Following the mass-media news for investment intelligence is a mug's game.

I think it's pretty positive news myself and a much more solid indicator of a possible bottom than all the other financial pundit fear mongering stuff. This guy is no dummy and he's going all in on a major infrastructure deal that relies heavily on a healthy American economy.

I wonder how much insider trading the SEC will never find from that deal. I wonder if any of my funds own any of that stock. Naw, no way, they probably sold yesterday at a loss.

This is a long range investment, not a market timing deal. Fuel costs will keep going up long term which means more shipment by rail and less by truck. Warren probably won't live long enough to see the major fruits of this deal.

I don't think so, knob. Don't know why I feel different, but I'm thinking there's more to it. I'm thinking he may not use it for moving freight. We'll know one way or the other in a year I bet.

Buffett really screwed up this time. Without the Short Line, Reading, and Pennsylvania Railroads, he only gets $50 when someone lands on the Burlington Northern.
