Not sleeping especially well in the wee hours. Hope that doesn't disqualify me to post the first daily thread on the first friday in our new community.
In all the cyber storm of last week I failed to mention the 92nd birthday (Sept 26th) of fitness guru Jack Lalanne. The guy is truly amazing. Looks healthier than most 70 year old guys that I know.
Think I'll go play some geetar... Maybe I can lull myself to sleep for a while.
Have a great day that transitions into a great weekend.
Thanks for the invitation and the welcome. Good to see yaz all. Hope to catch you in live performance in the near future.

Good morning campers! Mention of Jack LaLane reminded me -- Coco Taylor turned 78 yesterday. Ever seen her? I saw her in a small blues club here 12-13 years ago. She was incredible. What energy. What power.
Heck, I'm not even a big blues fan.

I`m working up a certain forumite inspired Scottish jig on the guitar. Hope to record it soon. I may do a rough draft o`er the weekend. Have a Great Day Be well Matt

Good Morning Good People
Cold Frosty Morning in Michigan
Journey to Detroit today for some late afternoon dirt digging -- my client owns a boatyard on the Detroit River with an old gasoline/diesel spill that needs cleaning up. Will probably finish work about 8:00 PM and arrive back home around 11:00 PM. If all goes well this morning at the office I might be able to sneak in a stop at Elderly enroute.
Have a newly harmonious day one and all.

Hey, Don, good luck in Detroit. At least the ground isn't frozen yet, right? Does that make it easier for you guys to do the clean-up?

morning. Chilly here, not to make a bad pun. Lars is back from the Toronto studio and I could possibly have a day to do things ... like possibly take a photo or two. Dunno. The store has this way of following me around with a ball in its mouth wagging its tail these days. Have good ones.

Good morning everyone! Hey tamarack, I assume that you clean up diesel and fuel contamination sites for a living? Too bad you aren't closer, we have a LOT of work down here. We are rebuilding a bunch of our stores and the State is requiring cleanup of the sites where the UST's were. Plus, our winters only get down to about 50.

Good day to you, as well, Kevin, and all others.
Sure is dark when I get in the car around 6:45 these days -- yikes. I was looking for gloves this morning.
Busy weekend coming up -- solo gig tonight, then Barb and I have two gigs Saturday, 70 miles apart with only a couple hours between them. Good thing I have a fast car, aina?
Sunday promises yardwork and an open mike to host in the evening.

Good mornin, friends! Getting kind of a late start this morning, I had to change a tire on my truck before I left my house Only half a day of work today, then off for a weekend fishing / camping trip for the weekend. The weather should be nearly perfect. Have a great weekend! Tom

kook's here! You guys are killing me, make a nice place to be and I'll end up not getting any work done again! Good thing my mid-year review is today, before they check the server to see how I spend my time! What a breath of fresh air this place is. All my fave peeps are here... Did I sound 14? I'm trying to master that before I start lurking on myspace.
