I almost wet myself on that one. Too bad about the spilled drink. Did you at least salvage the little umbrella? Maybe some of the fruit? It would have been a disaster had I not been wearing my galoshes.

The story keeps developing. Apparently our facebook friend, Anna, is about to be traded for a couple of American spies and a draft choice to be named later. Of course, the press is lamenting that children may be uprooted in the exchange.

Really? I guess this is how much I'm not following that story. As much as I like kids, the kids go with th efolks and if the folks go home, the kids go home too. So what. They worried they are gonna miss the fall dance or what?

Yeah, that was pretty much "my what-the-heck?!" take on it too. But then, I don't understand the "uprooting" issue with illegal immigration either. When my parents moved, I did to. When I was an adult, I moved away from my parents. Big whoop. And yet that is a major sticking point with immigration policy, and apparently a major consideration being asked of the spy trade thingy.
