I have a Cortez dove, made in Japan, that I'm looking to sell. I'm asking $375 plus shipping. The guitar has a couple nicks and scratches, but overall it's in very good condition. Has an adjustable bridge, tortoise pickguard, fretboard inlays, and sunburst finish. All the parts are original except for the bridge pins. The guitar really plays great, super smooth action, great sustain and tone; she really sings. I just registered so I'm not sure if I'll be getting email notifications to any replies, but I'll be checking back periodically, and I can email you more pictures if you're interested. I'm not the original owner, and it's pretty hard to find information on the guitars, but from what I have found they were produced from the 70s to the early 80s. There was one that sold on guitar-museum that was from 1977 and looks identical to the one I have (and sold for $495 ), so I'm thinking mine is from around the same time period. Also, if anyone has any information on dating Cortez guitars by the serial number I would greatly appreciate it if you could share it with me ;D Thanks!
